Cold weather and rigidity?
I just got back from traveling to Switzerland and had a bad experience with walking. While I have some minor issues with mobility here in the south (Memphis, Tennessee, USA), I was unpleasantly surprised with severe ankle and calf rigidity in cold temperatures. I’m new at this, just diagnosed in April

The Littlest Angel
May the Spirit of Chistmas be with you Let me tell you a tale that is often told In the great Celestial Hall All about an angel only four years old The littlest angel of all How all day he would play with a little box That to others had no words Oh, but there were treasures in this little box

Ways various PD treatments deplete essential chemicals.
https://www.dovepress.com/parkinsonrsquos-disease-managing-reversible-neurodegeneration-peer-reviewed-fulltext-article-NDT The above is an interesting read, including various pathways that are depleted with PD treatments. Also this was interesting: Should mucuna and 5-HTP be used instead of sinemet

Atypical PD
I just watched a long video on the subject of atypical
Parkinsonism
. One sign is that tremor doesn't respond well to sinemet. Of the diseases that mimic PD, it's a short list but all of them are lethal and preceded by dementia. Yikes!

Delusional thinking from Parkinson's
My husband was diagnosed with PD in 2018. His body is sensitive to medicine, so his neuro has not prescribed any yet since his physical symptoms are still mild. He has been taking 1000 mg. of Vitacost HDT since January 2019, along with vitamins/ supplements. My husband is most bothered by the drooling

I did a very dumb thing, please read!!
I’ve determined (could change)that I have Drug Induced
Parkinsonism
or the Coimbra Protocol is working. I am slowly feeling better everyday. I currently take an MAO-B inhibitor and a 1.5 pills 3 times a day of 25/100 c/l. Last Sunday I couldn’t find my rasagiline so I couldn’t take it.

Prolopa dosing
I live in the US and use carbidopa/levodopa and am familiar with it's dosing protocols. My mother in law lives in El Salvador and takes Prolopa which is levodopa and benserazide (instead of carbidopa). I understand that Prolopa and Madopar are essentially the same. We just visited my mother in law and

Multi vitamins
Hi guys, I have been taking BioCare Adult Multivitamins & Minerals for approx a year now. I’ve recently read up that Alpha Tocopherol is not good for us. This BioCare product contains this ingredient. Do any of you know of a good multi Vit that doesn’t contain it? Thank you Mandy
