Fiund on Web.md: If you have one of these conditions, it's best to avoid using cat's claw without consulting with your healthcare provider. Parkinson disease: There is a concern that cat's claw might make tremors or movements worse in people with Parkinson disease. Consult with your healthcare provider before using cat's claw.
I read that but everyone is different and symptoms, etiologies and responses to therapy with Parkinson varies from person to person. Part of the reason it is so difficult to treat/cure.I agree consult your physician first.
There are others who recommend cats claw for PD. I have recently started reading Medical Medium stuff, and he recommends it though he is not a doctor. But the medical establishment makes natural substances almost impossible to be approved. So it's not surprising. I took a dropper full of it when I read this thread about 10 minutes ago, and my tremor is actually calmer!
Good information! The only problem is that the Pure Mountain Botanicals Cats Claw which he recommends is Uncaria Tomentosa , while Gou Teng which healthyheart is using (and Dr. Weil's article has mentioned) is Uncaria rhynchophylla. Not sure how much they differ, may be someone can comment on it.
No, it's not my field. I am just an experienced educated farmer. If you want I can help you create your own fac- similar Mediterranean diet with the products of your locality.
Curious! Perhaps interesting to start a separate item to share your and others' gardening experiences with us. It is the beginning of the growing season and the garden plan can still be updated with interesting vegetables, herbs and fruit choices for Mediterranean/MIND/PD diet. 🙏
This makes me happy. The garden, the best medicine for PD. It contains everything we are advised: proper nutrition, exercise and mental well-being. 🍀
Here we only focus on one of the thousands of (millions) of items, Cat’s Claw: what kind, which brand, price, solvent, personal experiences, the hundreds of potentially active, counteracting and risky components, the many studies…and. we don't even talk about the ecological footprint, sponsorship Amazon, our relationship with China, etc. “Consult with your healthcare provider before using cat's claw” He no longer answers my emails, but my neurologist will certainly be very enthusiastic if I might get to talk to him in six months. Fortunately, he will soon also have access to GPT. Or do we no longer need them like HE? 😀
By the way, this is what GPT says about Cat’s Claw in relation to Parkinson’s:
“There is currently insufficient scientific evidence to conclude that cat’s claw (Uncaria tomentosa) is effective for treating Parkinson’s. While some studies have shown that cat's claw has antioxidant properties and can reduce the inflammatory response in the body, no clinical studies have been conducted to confirm its effectiveness in the treatment of Parkinson's. Parkinson’s treatment requires a multidisciplinary approach, including medication, physiotherapy and sometimes surgical interventions as well. Therefore, always consult your doctor before taking cat's claw or other supplements to treat or prevent Parkinson's. It is important to follow the prescribed treatment and make any changes to your diet or supplements only after consulting your doctor.” 😎
Very interesting Esperanto, chatGPT is the patient teacher we all would have liked, but people believe in people not computers, for this there will always be a need for a good doctor. IMO it will be the death of public forums like this because whoever wants to share their practical experiences on the web will have them stolen by an Artificial intelligence (AI) as well as all other personal information. The information must be found with experience before being processed and distributed by AI, in fact the useful information on the treatment of the PD does not yet exist and GPT will not find it. Your peppers are beautiful, a collection of different varieties I see, or not?
Totally agree with you Gio! But rest assured, if you ask this question to chatGPT he assures us that the forums remain necessary. 😀 It is a useful tool, but it mainly reproduces existing ingrained information and opinions, so very recognizable and human, That's exactly what we try to avoid on HE, by making new connections, sharing personal experiences, critically reviewing the latest research and especially how we feel. I do expect AI to take over some of that anyway, and it might even see that there are lots of varieties of peppers and tomatoes growing in our greenhouse. 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎
In any case, he will easily be able to draw the conclusion that you shall have many friends with such salad production! 🍀
What's the role of WorX stem cell support in the improvement of your symptoms. Is it a separate supplement that must be taken with gou teng... healthyheart7 ?
I don't take it all the time, but will take a capsule every day for a couple weeks and then it might be a couple months before taking any more. Can't tell you exact results, but it helps with colon issues and I know it is valuable at times
