Coping with fibroids
I use
paracetamol
(rarely, if pain makes moving impossible) and hot water bottles/heat pads ALL the time. I have stopped DHEA which I have been taking since early February 2022 in case this is increasing oestrogen which is making them increase in size?

Excruciating Pain!
Last Friday I had severe pain. I’ve been laying in bed most of the week as the pain walking is unbearable. My husband took me to Immediate care and after an X-ray. They say it’s schlerosis in the L4 vertebrae that’s impinging on a nerve. Other than taking ibuprofen and acetaminophen there is no solution

Am reconciled to the wait, but was told they inflate tummy with gas for which l will be given Codeine but need to stock up on
paracetamol
. Is the pain similar to period gripes or might l need to allow for several weeks of pain. Thank you so much for reading my long winded post 🌺🌺🌺

What should I try next?
I have poor toleration with a lot of medications eg even max strength
paracetamol
makes me feel spaced out. I had my iron checked about 6 years ago and Dr said it was at right level.

Acetaminophen and High Blood Press
😳😳Yesterday, there was a post on my FB with a poorly loaded (corrupted) video, it looked official, But I thought a Hoax. So this morning I goggled and found: "Acetaminophen (Tylenol) is not an anti-inflammatory drug and has not been linked to heart disease and stroke. However, acetaminophen, like

Terrible leg pain at night - two weeks in on Levothyroxine
What I'm struggling with is the terrible leg pains that wake me up every single night and which
paracetamol
seem to have very little effect on. They affect mainly below my knees and disappear during the day when I get up.

PMR and Itching?
Taking
paracetamol
seems to blot it out sometimes. I've also noticed that it starts to return in the evening, though it maybe that distractions of the day take my mind off it.

How to cope with endo and adeno pain after ivf??
My gp said there is no pain relief that I'm allowed to take other than
paracetamol
. I am mentally struggling, I don't know how I can cope with this daily pain. Apparently it should ease up if the pregnancy progresses, but so far it's been really awful. Can anyone give me some advice please. x

How is it still an acceptable comment?
I went to the doctors this week to discuss new pain medication - I’ve exhausted the options over the last 6 years but have now been told to stop everything and take one tramadol at night as well as
paracetamol
and ibuprofen.

Feeling sorry for my little one
They said they ‘don’t do’ any other pain relief for children other than
paracetamol
and ibuprofen and that they had her down as constipation and wouldn’t change it. Were really rude to me when I was clearly in distress with my poor daughter.

Failing to reduce again
I did take some
paracetamol
which temporarily took the edge off the pain for a few hours but that was it. I was fine until the last week of the taper to 8mg but started getting slight pain in the night a couple of times. Then it gradually got worse at the end of the taper.

13 days post op 😁
Hi all, So I'm now 13 days post full hysterectomy and removal of endo and apart from a sore buttock I'm feeling the best I've felt in a long time 🥳 I cant believe what a difference it's made, I'm still taking the odd
paracetamol
and blood thinners (only 2wks left of them!)

update following my post to Dartmoor Sunday
he will leave me with my GP to look after me but he would be more than happy to see me any time I them asked him about the trouble I am having with my lower back as
paracetamol
just was not any help at all. upshot on that was that it was not related to PMR so it will be back to GP on Fri as he wants

Just come back from docs again to be told its only OA for which there is not much that can be done as it is a degenerate condition. ( Keep taking the tablets
Paracetamol
)! Had to ask for Hips Exray. It seems that self diagnosis and some knowledge of the subject is the only form of defence.
