Paracetamol

Often the more moving around I do by late afternoon I experience more pelvic pain too My GP has just said to take paracetamol co codamol or tramadol for the pain Please I need advice is this normal for endo people?!

Paracetamol and voltarol gel do not help. Right elbow and right thumb are particularly bad, but I am right handed and have taken up bowls very competitively in the last year.

But not looking forward to another day of headache - paracetamol didn’t do anything. Thanks

I take (excuse spelling) :- Dapagliflozin, carvedilol, aspirin, paracetamol, ranalaxine, colpodigrel, epelerone, losarten, spray, alotovastatin Bpm usually below 40 and Bp usually 76/60 but ok as been checked... I have ventricular failure,

I was symptomatic with palpitations,pulse rate up to 140b/m, very irritable. all these started about a week after COVID infection(October 2021) and they thought it was post COVID symptoms so the GP won’t see me, they sent me to a walk in centre where I was told to rest and take paracetamol.

Can I take paracetamol? I am being treated with Acalabrutinib.

So far it has reduced or eliminated my chronic back pain, (I had been on regular daily morphine and Paracetamol for compression fractures in seven spinal vertebrae for about three years).

Paracetamol helps, as does Ibuprofen (I’m avoiding the latter as I’ve had a stent in one of my heart arteries). One of the GPs I’m seeing says PMR is bilateral so it’s unlikely and that I should continue reducing.

Hi Elsie , Same as you off Pramipexole for 4 weeks started Gabapentin at 300mg then increased to 600mg then to 900mg part working now on 1200mg still not right get to sleep okay but wake after3 hrs with RLS have to get up twice during night take some paracetamol and I also take 100mg of Tramadol

I did have chest pain after the procedure, but one Codeine tab, then one Paracetamol resolved that. I had a couple of low surges, they’re interesting😳, and my groin wound did bleed as I sat myself up for dinner. I’m so fortunate and pleased to be discharged with a great outcome.

Hiya I take a lot of epilepsy medication and was given tramadol and paracetamol. Is that safe?

I know it can take time with withdrawal symptons but it is hard trying to walk in pain and just after breaking my femur 2 months ago ,tramadol 100 mg at night not helping asked for oxycodone but was told it interferes with the Gabapentin only taking Paracetamol but not strong enough ,any Ideas to calm

I'm already on: paracetamol, naproxen, high dosage of gabapentin, oramorph and morphine tablets...but still can't function as a human being. Also any suggestions of other conditions that meet these sort of symptoms- I don't want to self diagnose just interested in people's experiences.

Today the swelling was real but after taking ibuprofen and paracetamol the swelling seem to have gone down. I still see some blood dots (really small dot) when I change my bandages, hope that’s normal! Looking forward to these dissolvable stitches to go away!

I said paracetamol and ibruprofen and hot water bottle are my daily routine and I dont want more pills to mask the pain. After 2 years I just want to know whats wrong with me. 😢

Current pain relief is naproxen (2/day), codeine (3-4/day) and paracetamol; and my GP has prescribed Gabapentin this week to add to this mix although I can’t bring myself to start it yet!

I had mine yesterday and today I am having cramping pain,took paracetamol, but not relieved . Can I use hot water bottle?

I have to fight through this [sometimes just have to get up and hobble around] then with paracetamol I can go back to sleep for another short while. This resulting tiredness and the mobility problems and pain during the day has almost destroyed my life. Anybody any recommendations for sleeping?
