Hospital Treatment

YELLOW STOOL FOR A MONTH (need help)
I have been pooping yellow stool for a month now from 14th of December until tonight (21st of January)... It has been a mixed of soft solid, and soft served (ice cream) consistency. Sometimes it is solid snake like shape when I eat 3 bananas. It has been on dark yellow to golden yellow. Sometimes light

Leading pain doctor says no significant pain relievers for at least ten years.
A post I read in the newsletter Pain News Network, a leading doctor/scientist in the field of pain management stated that in her professional opinion there will not be a significant replacement pain reliever for at least ten years, or more. Seems Big Pharma is running out of options for pain relievers

Serious pain in lower back week on from laparoscopy! Is this normal? Please help!!
I’m in serious lower back pain since I had my Laparoscopy a week today. The pain is just above my bottom bottom of my spine. I can’t sit or sleep properly. Is this normal I’m so worried something has happened during this procedure. He removed endometriosis from uterosacaral ligaments, back of the uterus

Has anyone heard of a fibroscan being wrong?
OK, I'll try and make this as short as possible. I was a heavy drinker in my 20s and early 30s but in more recent years I've basically stopped drinking. I've had a few paracetamol overdoses too, the last being 30 months ago when my symptoms started. That one was accidental, really stupid since I'm aware

France tightens (further) rules on sale of paracetamol and ibuprofen
I thought this of possible interest given the many discussions about availability of thyroid hormones in France and elsewhere. And anyone going to France might find it useful to know. [i]

Anyone had PGP? Any tips on how to manage it?
Hello Everyone. I've been at maternity triage all weekend with bad pelvic pain, been diagnosed with PGP. Just been told to rest and take pain killers but I can't take anything stronger than paracetamol. I'm currently 35W+4. Just wondering what every one else's experiences are with it? Thanks in advance

ideas on managing Chemo induced peripheral neuropathy
Hi ladies, and gents. I have a question to those who suffer from neuopathy. How do you manage or sooth it? Mine isn't horrible but is definitely stopping me from a lot of activities because I'm going to pay for it later that night. Everything I read is about B12 deficiency.. I take plenty of B vitamins

Pain in abdomen at 17 weeks
My daughter is 17 weeks pregnant with her first baby. She is just 20 and lives with me. She suffers with chronic pain (nearly 4 years) and takes Tramadol, paracetamol and Oramorph for pain relief. She has tried to cut down but it's a fine balance. She also takes antidepressants mainly for anxiety

The Medications That Change Who We Are - (i.e., Statins & Pain-Killers) - from BBC Future website
I'm working on a long post (maybe a series) about the relationship between cholesterol and PCa. With the recurring suggestion that PCa patients should consider adding a statin drug to their treatment plan, this BBC article might give some of you reason for pause. [i]" . . . A mere vitamin deficiency was the culprit, who would have thought that.
Today I have decided to start the New Year with telling my story as it might benefit others. I suffered with migraines all my life, as a child , then a great deal less as an adult female ( for some reason during my life doctors decided on odd occasions during my life to give me ‘ vitamin injections,

Update
So my GP was on leave and I saw a locum. He was alarmed at my shortness of breath but I practically ran from the bus stop as the bus was significantly late and I caught an earlier for exactly that reason. There's a gp surgery 5 mins from me but it's not in my area? but this one more than 2 miles away

Cautious return after back problems
It seems I'm prone to back problems - when I first did C25K in 2017 I just got to graduate and do my first Parkrun and put my back out. I think a combination of doing a too-ambitious yoga class the day before, and almost running into the finishing post at the Parkrun (so elated to get round that I didn't

Taking Peginterferon
Today I will be taking my first Peg Interferon injection - starting on 45mcg once a week. What’s everyone’s routine for taking it?. Am planning at bed time with a couple of Paracetamol and hopefully sleep through the worst (for those that experience side effects - how quickly after taking do you experience
