Taper, flare, increase - the usual. Now add confused!
I’m hoping you might have time for this question, PMRpro! Dx around 9/18. Reduced far too quickly, flared at 4, up to 20 for 7 days 9/19, reduced slowly to 13. Had changed when on 14 to bedtime tablets with good results. Changed to gastro résistant beginning of December. Aches and pains gradually increased

Coping strategies for endometriosis
Hello, I am currently awaiting a laparoscopy on the NHS. I am desperate for any tips that you may have when on your period to cope with the pain/be able to function and go into work. I currently find I have to sit in a scorching hot bath or shower for hours to gain any relief. At the moment I take ibuprofen

Extreme pain at bottom of my back.
Hi everyone. As some of you will remember, I had a total shoulder replacement last month and it is wonderful. I can't believe how fast it has become good enough to lift it up and I am now dressing myself for the first time in almost two years. I am going to have a knee replacement next year so am hoping

Any help appreciated!!
When I was 18 (I’m now 20), I was diagnosed with RLS. I’ve had the same excruciating pain that lasts all night and has me in tears all night for as long as I can remember. I’m a student, and it’s been really hard to handle and manage the symptoms, I’ve tried the exercising, improving my sleep hygiene

Hi all I've posted a few times in the last few weeks. Sorry to bombard. Was diagnosed with endo Monday after 15 years of horrific period pain. Period arrived this morning, an hour later was being driven home from work by a colleague as I couldn't drive with pain. I've been sick 3 x in the last 3 hours

Help, need advice
Hi, I've just been diagnosed with fm, which explains a lot over the years, but I've struggled for years with severe pain and tiredness. I've been started on 75mg pregabalin, paracetamol, naproxen and codeine, as yet, I don't feel any benefit. I've been told they can help treat some symptoms, but not

Hi everyone
I had the ct head scan on Wednesday, it is just a waiting game now. 7 days before results are with my gp. Today I have headache and feeling a bit feverish but not a high temperature. Taken 2 paracetamol and drinking lots of water. I am sure this will pass but if no better tomorrow I will get bloods

Paracetamol/codeine
I bought a couple of packs of paracetamol extra today without realising that the ‘extra’ was codeine. Is it OK to take them with Apixaban?
