Total gastrectomy medication
I had a total gastrectomy 7.5 years ago and have suffered with swallowing issues ever since plus bile reflux. I take Omeprazol 2 x 20mg daily and Domperidone 3 x 10mg daily to supposedly help keep the bile down. With this medication I continue to have bad bouts of reflux during the day, not so much

Reducing cocodomol
Well next week I start reducing cocodomol and transferring to paracetamol to see how the pain is with or without. If I do get off co cod then I am mainly on MTX and vitamins and minerals. GP aware he knows I want see how the MTX is doing stand alone so we can work out what I need, if I do. Imagine

Help!!! Please. Trying to work out when to take split dose along with food and other tablets.
I've tried doing my own research but now I'm totally confused and stressed over trying to incorporate another dose of thyroid meds in the day. Up to now I've taken my NDT at 7am and water an hour before caffeine and food and 4 hrs before half of my vitamins and paracetamol for fibro. I wanted to try

Reoccurrence of Rectovaginal endo
I’ve had an MRI recently which shows my Rectovaginal endo has reoccurred after hysterectomy and bilateral ovary removal. My gynaecologist think the risks of further surgery may outweigh the benefits. She has treated me for years in a BSGE specialist centre and I trust her implicitly. My question is whether

Worst period pain after HyCosy
Hi all. I had my HyCosy test carried out on day 8 of my cycle. It was implant and not something I’d care to repeat, but all was good with no blockages etc found and I was back to feeling grand two days after it. I’m now on cd1 again, and boy I have the worst cramps I can remember! I feel like I did

SOS - accident - not thyroid related
Yesterday my husband fell (there was a pothole) crossing the road and pulled me down with him. He is perfectly ok apart from a grazed finger, but I fell on my right side and the side of both knees. We were very near our medical centre, so went in and were seen by a nurse. She bathed and dressed my knees

Another lesson learnt
I had a slight cold on and off for a couple of weeks . 10 days ago it seemed to come to a head and came out fiercely . The next day Richard woke up with it , I wasn’t unduly worried but the next evening I lay awake and thought about how or if it would affect his MSA . I rang the Dr at 8am sharp and requested
