Running career over?
Hi , I’ve been doing quite well as a complete beginner completed week 1 fine, but picked up a knee twinge W2R2, slowed it right down for R3 on Friday but now hobbling around like an invalid! I take anti inflammatories anyway for arthritis in my hands and they help along with paracetamol but when they

Self-help advice
Wanted to know if anyone had any advice for self-help as I’ve been left on my own by the doctors. I got diagnosed with fibromyalgia just over a year ago after 3 years of pain. The doctor that diagnosed me put me on amitryptaline (which has done nothing for me) but told me I shouldn’t be on any other

Emergency Consult....
Saw consultant today after a rough week with the lungs and cough. So now off MTX until a CAT scan is done to see what is causing the issue as nothing showing up on the normal xray and they need to check in more detail. Also doing some breathing tests. So back to being on just amoxcillin(just 4 more days

Please can anyone help with this. I am very anxious at the best of times and have been given this for a cyst. I also take paracetamol for bad back and diazepam occasionally for panic. This is also with numerous other tablets for various things which I trust the doctor took into account! I just forgot

Colds and AF
Been a bit of a season for it for me this year, back at work for my full hours since September. Little one started nursery over the summer and both me and the OH (who doesn't have AF) seem to be picking up every cold she brings home! The eldest seems to escape and has had maybe two in the same timeframe

Post lap pain deteriorated over last 24hrs.
I’m unsure if this is normal or whether 8 should see GP tomorrow? I had diagnostic lap and excision two weeks ago and I had been managing for the last 5 days on the odd paracetamol or ibuprofen but the last 24hrs I’ve had to go back onto 2x30mg codeine, paracetamol and 500 ibuprofen as frequently as

Dr making me want to yank my hair out! Told me hypermobility doesn't cause pain and won't help me!!!
Dr says my pain is in my head...I have JHS and already booked in for surgery (attached is a photo of my arthrogram... I'm just proud because I have a severe needle phobia and panic disorder... So when I was told I had to go in to have the needle done alone as it's done under x-ray, it was dangerous to

OTC cold remedies
Hi everyone I was just wondering which OTC cold remedies people use while on heart meds? There are so many interreactions it's confusing. I've managed to acquire a head cold and am just taking paracetamol and drinking loads of fluids - with an occasional original Beechams powder thrown in for good measure
