Hi all. I had my HyCosy test carried out on day 8 of my cycle. It was implant and not something I’d care to repeat, but all was good with no blockages etc found and I was back to feeling grand two days after it.
I’m now on cd1 again, and boy I have the worst cramps I can remember! I feel like I did after the test, I’ve had to take pain killers, and I’m lying down woth a hot water bottle.
I’m lucky in that I rarely get cramps, nothing a paracetamol won’t cure, so this is really odd. Anyone else experience this after test?

Hycosy can influence your period as far as my doctor explained this to me. I had also Hycosy done a while ago and I remember that after 3 or 4 days from the intervention I had my period, that was very unusual as it was only 19 days from my previous one, with different words two cycles in one month, what a joy! Hope you feel better now xxx
Hi Genabella. So sorry to hear this. It could be that your Fallopian tubes are having some spasms after being upset with the test. Just rest when you can and take some paracetamol if you need to. No anti inflammatories such as ibuprofen. Hope all soon settles down. Diane
