OTC cold remedies

Hi everyone

I was just wondering which OTC cold remedies people use while on heart meds? There are so many interreactions it's confusing. I've managed to acquire a head cold and am just taking paracetamol and drinking loads of fluids - with an occasional original Beechams powder thrown in for good measure!!..oh..and Olbas oil is stinking the house out at the moment!! Anyone any ideas what else can be taken (if any!)

Most of the over the counter ones should be avoided as they tend to increase blood pressure so I would lock the Beecham away. The best thing is to talk to your pharmacist as they will be familiar with your medications.
