Post lap pain deteriorated over last 24hrs.

I’m unsure if this is normal or whether 8 should see GP tomorrow? I had diagnostic lap and excision two weeks ago and I had been managing for the last 5 days on the odd paracetamol or ibuprofen but the last 24hrs I’ve had to go back onto 2x30mg codeine, paracetamol and 500 ibuprofen as frequently as I can but it’s not touching the pain. I haven’t got a temperature but keep get chills and cold sweats (sorry!). Is this just the healing process? If I know it’s the norm then I’ll just have to get on with it but I’m a bit concerned that perhaps something isn’t right?

If in doubt it’s always best to seek medical advice.

I remember having a set back at about this stage of my recovery from one of my laps but it was because I did too much too soon xxx

Feeling similar, spoke to GP yesterday as not eating very much either, when I do, I get pain afterwards. He only offered me more pain killers and said it’s still quite soon after.

Worth talking to someone just in case.

If in doubt phone your doctor's surgery. Don't risk complications and it's not silly to check. Good luck. :)
