A couple of thoughts..đź’”
Good Morning friends, I had a good nights sleep all considering, I woke up at 5am. I thought I’d be in pain during the night (so I took a paracetamol just after dinner), but I wasn’t. No bleeding at all. When I woke up I thought how quickly my body has reset: my breast has shrunk and gone back to normal

Sore throat and earache
Hi I've had an earrache and swollen glands in my throat for over a month. Rang 111 about 2 weeks ago and they told me to go the urgent care as I have lupus just to check my white blood cells which they did and they were ok. Did all the checks and they didn't seemed concerned about my throat and said

Good afternoon
Good afternoon everyone. Well I am now in isolation. I have a head cold with a chest infection. It is related to my asthma but, I am immune compromised due to medication for AIH and PBC overlap, plus hashimoto's and asthma. I currently take budesonide and urso until I see my consultant or rather speak

Post lap periods
I had a laparoscopy last month and yesterday came on my period. It’s my second period since the lap. Last months was painful but no worse than usual. With this one however im in the worst pain I’ve experienced in a long time. I’ve been continuously cramping since about 11pm last night with no relief.

Pain in lungs?
Hi, It’s been 3 years since I was diagnosed with mild Bronchiectasis and to be honest have only had a couple of infections, so I’ve been very lucky indeed. However this means I haven’t gained confident in treating myself with the rescue antibiotics etc. Over the past few days I’ve had really bad pains

Leaving back pain behind
First post ...want to celebrate having smashed level 4 this morning. 60 yrs young.. chronic lower back condition and part of my pain control is supposed to be the unobtainable paracetamol. Running (of sorts)on on rough terrain and hoping that my new lung capacity will also be of benefit if I have to

Allergic to paracetamol. Can I take aspirin if I get coronavirus?
Hi! I am allergic to Paracetamol. There are a lots of articles and messages about avoiding ibuprofen if you get corona virus. I know it’s not been tested yet but I don’t want to take any risks. Can I take aspirin instead of paracetamol?

Anti inflammatories and Corvid
A neighbour who works for the nhs has just been sent a medical alert that they must not prescribe anti inflammatories for anyone with the virus as it makes the illness worse, especially in younger people. The exact post said "We have just been sent a medical alert that no one is to use anti inflammatories

Health experts criticise NHS advice to take ibuprofen for Covid-19
The first mention of not taking ibuprofen (nurofen) that I was aware of came through in France the other day. I did NOT post because of conflicting views. Today we are seeing confirmation from several sources that taking ibuprofen for covid-19 is questionable. Hence I am now posting. Please read carefully

Asthma anti inflamatories
As an asthmatic on a pink preventative and a blue reliever which are anti inflamatories it worries me that the news states that if anti inflamatories are taken naming ibupofen is harder to cure Covid 19. The advice is to take paracetamol but what about anti inflammatory inhalers.

Anti inflammatory drugs should not be used for treating patients with Corona virus
I read on the NHS Corona virus stay at home advice, to use Paracetamol and IBUPROFEN . Yet, Ibuprofen is an anti inflammatory and it can worsen the condition. They have advised not to use it in France if you have the Corona virus symptoms.

Where Are the Loo Rolls?
Toilet paper and paper towel shelves I my local supermarket. Sanitizer/soaps the same as are paracetamol and related products. There was also limited berries and frozen food. I had hoped things would be restocked by now. I did get some vodka (reduced) and Big Tom though! Vodka 🍷(bloody Mary)

Reacting to the Virus
I am just the messenger but it is worth heeding. This! I know we’re all tired of hearing/talking about it, but one thing I HAVEN’T really seen going around is advice for what happens if you DO get coronavirus (many of us will), we're only seeing advice for how to try to AVOID it. So as your friendly
