I need a direction to the rest of my life journey …
The question I am facing right now, should I go back to chemo (4th line) and the objective is only under
palliative
care
which confuse the hill out of me….to me palliation therapy is to control and help relieve symptoms such as pain, …etc. if I go back to chemo, it will bring with it some painful side

Walking
Dear Members, I have often read and come through suggestions that diabetics must take morning walks. Everyone who has diabetes start walking in the morning. However my understanding is that diabetics who do not follow LCHF diet must first decide how many kilometers they need to walk. Of the total

If you shout loud enough
I wanted to share this with you all, I received a phone call from a Dr on the
Palliative
Care
Team, never met him as yet and part of the phone call was about getting my care transferred to the new hospital along with all my other problems, cancer, COPD, Heart Failure, etc.

Hospice Care Week
Some of their patients have been in and out for some years, so it really does give a different perspective on
palliative
care
. They really put themselves out to form a good relationship with patients and families.

Fruits and LCHF
One thing which puzzles me about LCHF and DietDoctor.com. LCHF is supposed to be what our hunter-gatherer ancestors ate. They must have had a strenuous time hunting and gathering, climbing trees and running from wild animals. He was not an agriculturist. However, what prevented him from gathering fruits

5th line chemo
If it works they can re challenge me with previous drugs but if it doesn't it's
palliative
care
. He has said that if I get an obstruction they will have to stop chemo. This is very frightening as I've been in and out of hospital with bowel blockage. I am absolutely gutted.

CLL Clinical trials explained: Video from Dr George Follows and article for patients/carers from Professor Peter Hillmen
Dr George Follows of Cambridge University Hospitals, discusses clinical trials for CLL patients Clinical trials are not for everyone. Discussion about suitability is an “individual thing” and requires consideration of many factors and discussion between the CLL patient and Doctor. In this brief video

What's different?
Am in 3rd week of holiday in Spain and inevitably there is a difference in my diet. We are eating out about every other day and I am not restricting myself as I do at home. One of the obvious differences is that everything has more salt. I have always hated salt, even as a child I avoided eating it
