Microvascular decompression gladly took away my pain of Trigeminal neuralgia. I may have to do it again in six months, but we’ll see.

Microvascular decompression
It is nice and weird at the same time going through the day without any pain.
What is that? I have never heard of it, please will you explain it, thank you 😊
I was trying to find a link for you to watch the procedure on YouTube, but I will try something later and explain the best I can. Okay, so you’re at the hospital’s radiology department until the neurosurgeon is ready. Meantime you meet the Anesthesiologist that are going to put you under. Thank God, you are sedated. You wake up after it’s finished. They place a type of hollow tube in your cheek that will help them put this instrument through it to put a balloon between your vein and the trigeminal nerve and separate the two for 90 seconds and then deflate the balloon and take the it out. When The anesthesia runs off and you wake up, you’re numb, but gloriously not in pain. One of the few surgeries you wake up with no pain. Anyhow, it lasts for at least 6 months, but you stay on the medicine you were on to treat the pain, such as anticonvulsants like Oxcarpazepine and Gabapentin to have the nerve heal. If you have any particular questions, then please let me know. By the way, I have been thinking about you and wanted to update you on the procedure.
If you go to YouTube, Then you can type in microvascular decompression surgery to treat trigeminal neuralgia pain. There is a lot of information there.
i'm glad you're experiencing relief.🤗
I'm gld it worked for you!Leslie
Thank you so much and it’s incredible.
That's awesome! It's nice to know there is a procedure that can possibly help. Glad it has helped you. 🤗
Thank you so much and your absolutely right about finding a procedure that can actually help.
My husband (who has MS) has pain all over his body now, everyday. Is this a proceedure for that? Stem cell replacement did not help very much. Thank You.
I really hope he feels better soon and no this is just a procedure for facial pain due to trigeminal neuralgia.
Great!
