Antihistamines for Post Covid Symptoms?
Hi, a few weeks ago I tested positive for Covid… It caused an asthma flare but my Fostair and Ventolin along with a course of Dexomethasone steroids seemed to have kept it manageable… Although the actual illness passed very quickly (temp, awful throat, horrible barking coughing fits) I have been left

CLL and positive for Covid
Hi, I’m 62, have CLL and have been on active monitoring for 5 years. Is there any advice anyone can give me or is it just a matter of taking paracetamol? (I’ve told the

Hi friends, i’ve been wearing t maskers every night (hearing aids with Beltone app white noise), otherwise i cant sleep. My dr gave me 2 100mg gabapentine and 5mg valium to take at night. I’ve been doing this for a month or so but the T is even louder, had to take half a zopiclone at 2am last night.

Any connections between bibasilar atelectasis, autoimmune diseases, Covid infections and/or Covid vaccinations?
Hello everyone, just wondered if anyone has any info on the above? I had a CT scan in November of the abdomen to check out my bladder and kidneys and it picked up bibasilar atelectasis and nodules <3 cm in both lungs. I got the letter just before Christmas, so will follow up with GP in the New Year.

Making a Comeback from Covid ??? We Will but it may take a While ...
Making a Comeback Hello ! I am not expecting anyone to reply to this...( all much too busy), but am putting it up for information and in the hope that, as and when you get a moment of relaxation, you may take a look:) This is where my mantra , certainly for me, will be resonating for quite some time

13 days on +5mg but still not completely sorted. Link to covid jab? Also dex scan disappointing.
After chat on here with PMRpro and others I added 5mg. I had gone through an awful fatigue etc very slow drop from 6.5mg to 6mg. It took me about 5 weeks and was feeling good after 2 weeks on 6 every day but stiffness started at week3. Now had 13 days on higher dose...11/12mg.It was better some days

Positive covid test
I have asthma and bronchietasis and tested positive for covid. What have others done ? I have a rescue pack. Have others started it right away or wait and see how it pans out? Appreciate other peoples experiences. Thank you in advance.

Need advice on next step, FET, more research or more IVF
Hi all, I hope you can give me some advice on what our next ivf step should be. I'm a 38 year old with a POI/POF diagnosis. I've now had 3 rounds of IVF with minimal and often disappointing results. 1st round: 2 eggs, 1 fertilized and is now a 5 day old cryo. 2nd & 3rd round: 1 egg, failed to fertilize

”Nitrous oxide: Laughing gas users risk spine damage, say doctors”…..
Its odd healthcare workers recognise B12 issues from drug abuse but not PA patients….. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-64718233 Feel like printing this one out to give the GP and ask why the young are treated and we are refused help.

IVF stories
I have enjoyed my new clinic, especially during the wait times before going into each procedure. I was able to spend some time with other women also heading to their own procedure (EC or ET) and listen to their stories. One lady is 48 and had tried multiple times; met her husband later in life. Had

Newly diagnosed
I still feel unsure as the information I have been given is quite sketchy. My initial fibroscan in July 2022 seemed to be quite disconcerting as had a liver stiffness of 41.9Kpa with CAP 400, which apparently is the most they could record, so was a little concerned. But nothing was really discussed

Elective freeze - only one embryo made it
Hello, this is our fourth full cycle (our second in the hope of a sibling for our daughter who was conceived through ICSI 2020 - she was our third transfer from our second cycle). We went into this cycle planning to do an elective freeze all as I've only ever had success with frozen transfers. Out of
