Had covid about 4 weeks ago. Last weekend combi boiler broke down cost more to repair it as quite old so no heating or hot water until new on comes 5th January, fortunately we have electric fires and portable heaters. Just had hip operation today and told probably won't be out until Sunday or Monday😢 And to top it all husband was admitted yesterday with low blood pressure and blood in his vomit, they also discovered he had covid. You couldn't make it up could you. On the upside I've been told that if I'm in Christmas day I get a prezzie, told them I hope its gold and shiny🤣Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas 🎅☃️🎁🎄

That's a real combination of bad luck, best wishes and hugs to all.
You couldn’t make that up could you! Hugs coming your way. Hope all these things will quickly resolve. Xx💐
Truly rotten luck, enjoy the warmth where you are, & secretly bottle it to take home! Hope you & hubby will both be better soon!
You certainly couldn't make it up! Trying (hard) to look on the good side, you'll be warm and husband will be looked after. Roll on 2023 indeed Sampete. All the very best to you both.
I was in hospital on Christmas Day following an hysterectomy aged 39.
The surgeon came in with his family on Christmas morning to visit all his patients. How lovely was that ?
My Mum travelled over 200 miles to look after my young children, husband and me when I came home after 6 days. They didn’t rush you home in those days.
It was her last Christmas.
I sincerely hope all is well again soon for both you and your husband but I agree… stay where you are if you can and celebrate recovery later on.
Hi sampete,
That's really unfortunate and definitely not what anyone would want to happen. 😕
I hope you both make a timely recovery that coincides nicely with the return of a 'healthy boiler'.
Take care and wishing you a calmer and more enjoyable new year.
All the very best to both of you and “enjoy” your hospital Christmas -better than a cold home! 🌸
Hugs
Sending big hugs 🤗🤗🤗
Big hugs xx
