Pain after failed icsi
hi everyone I am on day 5 of my period following failed icsi. It was a fresh transfer so I had not really recovered from the pain of the laproscopy when the egg was transferred. I am having pain that feels terrible and I am wondering what it is. It does not feel like normal cramping (plus my period

Digoxin side effects or post covid
I just had a blood check to find that in the last few months my iron levels have dropped quite a bit. Now I have read that digoxin can affect iron levels and so can post covid . I have a fairly mild infection about 8 weeks ago. I also understand low iron can actually cause a fib? Any ideas welcome

Finally Covid Antibiodies
Good morning I finally made some Covid antibodies after a bout with Covid. Not many, 1353, however, it is something. Not sure how long they will last.

Not feeling positive: Egg collection this Saturday; only two follicles ready, maybe 1-2 more follicles will cross the finish line
I have this growing sense of dread that this cycle is not going to go well. $10 k about to go down the drain. I feel like it in our case, we need more numbers for better success rates. Im 40, so higher chance of abnormal eggs. We also need ICSI which carries a higher risk of damaging eggs. So 2 at best

Due to Finish Steroids but Still Covid Positive
Hi! Last Wednesday I became very unwell, eventually Thursday morning the dreaded 2 lines appeared on my LFTs! After the initial 25/48 hours the actual illness seems to have improved, my temperature has come down and stayed down no issue, and I just feel completely weak and wiped out! I spoke to GP

Covid MRNA vaccine and PBC
I've had PBC since diagnosis 2008. Treatment with URSO and bezafibrate keeps things reasonably stable. I believe in vaccines so have taken 4 Covid shots up to April 22.Soon after April dose I developed very bad pains in hips, thighs, shoulders and upper arms. To cut a long story short, this turned out

Covid test nasal swab probes
Hi all -- Does anyone know if one can get covid test nasal swab probes separately from the other components, without having to buy new kits? I have plenty of the tests, the tubes, and the wash buffer blisters. But somehow I ran out of the nasal swabs. A search on amazon only gave me whole kits (and

Covid Vaccine After Rituximab - Timimg
I must admit I am at a bit of a loss on this one due to the conflicting information I am getting. I had my last Rituximab in November and I have been offered another Covid Jab. Now I know the NHS system isn’t complexed enough to deduce timings however I have heard so many different timescales that determine

Paxlovid and Flecainide
With Covid cases rising since Thanksgiving here in the US, the latest medical advice is “vaccinate, then, when testing positive with Covid, take Paxlovid within 5 days of onset of symptoms.” I tested positive with Covid last July, and I was quickly contacted by an advising physician who stated that I

Covid and Prednisolone
I’ve had covid for 12 days. Started while abroad and thought it was just a cold. After a stressful end to the holiday arrived home, felt worse so did a test. I doubled my dose of Pred to 15 mgms (SDR) and have remained at that dose. I am not getting any worse but am not improving. Husband has had

egg collection
** only 1 fertilised 🥺 Had our egg collection this morning - wasn’t as scary as I thought! We managed 6 eggs - seems a bit low considering my age (I’m 35), AMH and the fact I had 14 follicles. Really hoping they’re mature and fertilise…we were also booked for ICSI but they said only IVF is needed 🤷

chlamydia questions
I have three questions that are giving me sleepless nights : 1.Since i had chlamydia for 6 months before getting it cured would it have damaged anything permanently? I'm asking this because i seem to have a slight tingling sensation in my scrotum and some light pain in the groin. I got my testosterone
