Please help, I don’t know what to do.
I’ve been suffering from severe tinnitus for about 8 weeks following an ear infection in the left ear. It has steadily got worse until the point that I feel I can’t even follow conversations properly anymore, such is the volume of the buzzing and ringing in my ears - I can hear it over the tv as well

Pain?
Do most of you diagnosed with FND have pain? My son just got diagnosed with it and I don’t believe it at all. I think he has paraneoplastic or AE or maybe something else. He never has pain.

Tinnitus help
Hello, 5 days ago I woke up with a blocked ear (this has happened to me before and I fixed it with ear wax softer) but this time I had a ringing in my ear after 3 days of the ear wax drops. I went to the doctor who flushed my ear out with a water jet but I still have the ringing. Will it stay or will

Is otodex ok to use?
I got my ears cleaned out of wax because I was hearing a ringing sound in my ear, the doctor said it was FULL of wax so he clean it out with a water jet but the ringing is still here. He gave me otodex and amoxicillin because my ear was "red" are these drugs safe? Will the make my tinnitus worse?

I have been prescribed Minocycline for three months to see if it will be helpful in reducing the swelling in my joints. If it does not help I may start anti tnf therapy. I would be interested to hear from anyone who has had experience of this treatment. Fingers crossed for success I have tried many

Hearing loss happening long after Meningitis
In 2015 at the age of 16 I discovered that I had moderate hearing loss (45 to 15 dB). In 2018 I found that my loss was now severe (100 to 80 dB across the frequency range). My GP thought this was due to meningitis in 2013. I have been tested by an NHS ENT specialist. He found a high level of meningitis

Hearing tests on the High Street
I have just had a really awful weekend on an expensive course, not able to hear the instructor and feeling like a bit of an attention seeker. I think that my hearing loss and tinnitus have combined to make a hearing test a bit of an emergency now. What are your experiences of High St hearing tests? I

I’m deaf!
Two weeks ago on Monday I suddenly went deaf. I’m really struggling and stressed. I’ve done some research and found out about a autoimmune disease called AIED and it causes sudden deafness, and if left untreated for more than 3 months the damage can be lasting. So more than 3 months ago I had sudden

Eustachian Tube Disorder and tinnitus
Really hoping someone can give me some kind of hope on here as I’m getting myself very upset and stressed (I know I shouldn’t as that can make it worse but it’s hard!) Some background info: I got very low level T a year ago from tonsil stones/swollen tonsils. Had tonsils out in July with complications

Fuzzy
I’m really struggling today! I can’t seem to focus my mind on anything. And it’s so loud in my head. Not a hum like tinnitus. But loud pressure. I feel like everything is rushing past me. I can feel my anxiety getting worse as I’m now holding my breath without even realising. I’m so tired these days

Worry of Adrenal function
I don’t know whether anyone knows anything about the adrenal function but I’m quite worried. I have been reducing Pred over 2 years now and got it down to 5mg last October when I last saw my Rheumatologist. Pain was exceptable at this stage. I told her about my extreme tiredness and general lack of well
