I have been on bisoprilol for about nine years without any side effects

Yes I’m ok on them too , been taking them since June 18

Try a search for Bisoprolol on the AFA search link above (2086 mentions) . It is regularly discussed here, generally in negative terms.

I also take the same med although as Candersartan rather than your Amias brand. Started on 4mg and was increased until my blood pressure was controlled after about 6 weeks I ended up with the maximum dose of 32 mg. This dose seems to work for me in controlling my blood pressure, I have had no side effects with the drug. I also took bisoprol which also gave me no problems but not at the same time as the candersartan so I can’t say if they caused a problem taken together, however I take Sotacor now instead of bisoprol and again I have no problems taking them. Best of luck getting the BP under control.

Thanks

So it’s purely for BP

He didn’t mention anything about it just that I’m getting more tablets for BP

Hiya,

Are you feeling better on the new blood pressure tablets?

My heart isn’t racing either BUT it exhausts me x

Well I'd rather you didn't have a heart attack so, I guess it's the lesser of two evils. Perhaps, when your thyroid meds are sorted you'll not be as exhausted.

Big hugs xx.
