Does anyone else get a weird buzzing/vibrating feeling in your head before going to sleep?
I've seen a similar post on here but it's not exact. So I've had this happen to me since I can remember. Every time I try and fall asleep I start feeling kind of like a wave of vibrations or buzzing going through my head, until it gets so intense it becomes like static. I can hear it ring through my

Does betahistine dihydrochloride help?
Hello to all, I have hypothyroidism, and I usually go to the Thyroid community. But my tinnitus is getting worse. I was advised 16mg betahistine dihydrochloride twice a day. I just took first dose and T has gotten much louder! All advice gratefully appreciated. Thanks.

GCA symptoms
Following on from yesterday I am wondering if anyone who has had GCA or is knowledgeable about it can identify with any of the following symptoms that I was having before being upped to 20mg prednisolone by rheumatology registrar? Pain at base of skull, seemed like coming from muscles as very tender

Horizant Advice Please
I had my first dose last night and had a horrendous night, twitching and little sleep. How many days should I take it, before I give it up completely? I wouldn't say it was an allergic reaction, but just not the one I was hoping to get. The doctor told me to stop the Gabepentin cold turkey, which I did

Returning to the PMR/GCA site
I finally came off Pred. in April 2020 after starting it in 2018.Despite having had a second opinion (a bias towards Lupus) it was never absolutely confirmed that I had PMR/GCA as I had another immune system problem, (Lichen sclerosis) I believe my steroid treatment -first time -was the cause of a

I am just curious and throwing this out there! Did anyone else have onset of tinnitus after RAI treatment for their thyroid or after they started taking Levothyroxine? I swear I never had issues until after I had the above two done!

Post TBI immersive activity ideas- music/ craft?
Hi, I had a TBI a year ago when I was hit by a cyclist and am still off work with migraines and some cognitive issues. When I saw an occupational health doctor last week one useful comment he made was that âimmersive activitiesâ can help with recovery from the sort of emotional trauma that I have experienced

Nice to meet you all. Any tips or tricks to deal with this lovely, lovely butterfly disease that I need to know?
Hi. Can't believe it took me this long to find this site. I was diagnosed back in 2016 at 25 with severe Lupus SLE, and I'm studying here in the UK, hoping to stay permanently because I love it here so. The lupus certainly makes life more interesting, I've noticed. Nice to meet everyone. Anyone know
