Steroid Free Yipeeee
Thing is, my asthma is really bad today; I had forgotten what a bad day with asthma felt like lol and oh my goodness my bones hurt but that could be the
osteopenia
which the steroids caused, and I have a very clunky left hip..... are we falling apart I wondered, i mean am at that age lol.

Alendronic acid again
I've read a lot of your information plus other sources and feel that I still don't want to take AA because
osteopenia
at my age (66) is fairly normal, my readings are not that high and
osteopenia
doesn't automatically progress to osteoporosis.

Tired with Nausea
Hi I have AIH/PBC overlap and we are trying to lower and finally remove steroids from my treatment because I have developed
osteopenia
. I am down to 1 mg per day now but for the last three days I have been very tired and have nausea could this be the AIH rearing it's ugly head.

It says there is evidence of
osteopenia
. This is not osteoporosis but it means I could develop it.

osteopenia diagnosis
The doctor said
osteopenia
is one step away from osteoporosis, which i wasn't happy about. Having Lupus does not help either as it is also one of the causes. Has anyone been diagnosed with
osteopenia
due to transplant or steroids. i would love to hear from you.

Osteopenia with NASH Cirrhosis Child Pugh A
Also I have so much pain in all my bones and wondered if this was normal with
osteopenia
or if it is something we can expect with Cirrhosis.

Alendronic acid, again
I started taking AA two weeks ago after my dexa scan showed I had
osteopenia
. It coincided with me reducing predisolone from 15 to 13. I haven't had a problem before but I now have leg groin and hip pain. I'm wondering. . . .is it the tapering, or the AA? Any ideas or such experience?

Hyperthyroidism Breaking News
She was subsequently diagnosed with
osteopenia
which is improving after bisphosphonates (taken intermittently, not regularly), RAI and after she started running. [/i]If you’ve ever broken a bone, you know what a pain it can be (literally)!

How very annoying
Instead apparentl I have
osteopenia
! In fact the report says it recommends me starting on vit d and calcium but does not yet think I need alendronic, as it would seem the rheumy was not aware that I was already taking both even though it's in my notes!

COPD Osteoarthritis of the spine and Osteopenia
I would like to say that, reading everyone's comments on this site. Is a great help and I'm learning more about my ailments here than when I attend the doctor. I am finding a lot of reassurance on this site, thanks to everyone who unfortunately like myself has a few health issues, Maurice.

Two years on and still on 15mg prednisolone
I cannot continue like this indefinitely so I think l will continue on this plan to see what happens but little concerned due to my
osteopenia
and what these steroids have been doing to me.

Risedronate sodium 35mg
After a bone density scan about five months ago I was deemed to have
osteopenia
and put on Risedronate Sodium one 35mg tablet a week. Almost immediately I had awful knee pain. I thought my body would get used to it, but it never has done.

Also evidence of
Osteopenia
. The pain i have been trying to describe to my doctor is on my neck and shoulder area and feels like it is in the soft tissue. Its so frustrating as i am backwards and forwards for xrays only to be told no action is needed, yet i am still in severe pain.
