HORNER'S SYNDROME AND GCA
A few days ago, I questioned new symptoms or perhaps side effects. Most evenings I am having flushing on the right side of face and neck. At the time, I thought it might be caused by alcohol (rum) . We do like our Happy Hour. Now, I have more questions. The flushing is always in the evening so the intake

Any makeup suggestions for papulopustular rosacea sufferer with very oily skin?
I have papulopustular rosacea (the type with redness, whiteheads, and inflamed red spots) and I need something to cover it. Here are my requirements: 1.) No-fuss: I don't want a three-part regime with all sorts of lotions and potions like toner, primer, concealer, foundation, powder. I'd like a 1 or

Red skin condition
Hi I am a bit worried about this sort of rush that I have on my inner thigh. It had a bumpy rush with a normal skin colour although it now turned red and worries me a lot. I will go to doctors but in the meantime I wanted to get some opinion on it!. Many Thanks in advance

Does anyone know if any of the above interfere with levo. I know that some herbs do.

Pink/red flushing for no apparent reason across facial cheeks and nose even when not having been outside.
Hi, I am undiagnosed but, amongst other symptoms, I get pink/red flushing for no apparent reason across my facial cheeks and nose...but often it's just one cheek, with or without my nose flushing too. Sometimes it lasts most of the day, other days there's no flushing at all and on other days it occurs

Worried about Rosacea
Hi Guys, I'm a 33 year guy and recently had an outbreak bumps and redness on my face. It happened in March this year. I moved back from Australia in September and everything was fine. I'm quite fair but have never suffered with flushing or skin problems in my life. The doctor suggested it could be Rosacea

I suddenly got faster
I took today off and was looking forward to a good, long run. My plans were thwarted somewhat by a spontaneous party yesterday evening. Son no.1 has finally finished his apprenticeship and as of today financially independent. It's been a bit of a rocky road so we're all very happy and he threw a party

PBC and Nodular Regenerative Hyperplasia: I have 2 liver diseases.
Hi friends...I wrote a long post in April explaining my appointment at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda. I have an immune deficiency (called Common Variable Immune Deficiency) and Primary Biliary Cirrhosis. At my first appointment, they explained that they didn't see my PBC as a "slam dunk

5k run today
This morning I ran a 5k Run for Women's Mental Health. It was a cool, slightly windy day - good for running. I forgot my trusty garmin at home and was a bit worried. I had no idea of my pace or the time until right at the end. I tried to keep to a reasonable pace by feeling, I was passed a lot at the

constant eye twitch
Hi :) so when i was a kid, every now and then I'd get an eye twitch that lasted only for a bit and someone once told me it's cuz I'm tired. Now both eyes twitch almost all the time....it's crazy. Anyone else have this - and is it because I'm fatigued all the time now.

Tetracycline
Hi all! So a few weeks ago I mentioned I had the Hydrogen Breath Test to see if I had a bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) in my gut, and it came back positive. I'm now about to be prescribed the anti-biotic tetracycline and was wondering if anyone else has been on it? My sister has and she said all it gave

Dry skin help
I have mature sensitive skin, also dry itchy patches. My doctor gave me epiderm cream and cetaphil. These are OK for my hands, but not for my face, When I have makeup on the cetaphil does not remove it all, and also leaves a greasy film on my eyes. Can anyone recommend what I can use on face please

Week 5 Run 3 - Slower, honest...
After returning back to the UK on Wednesday, I decided to have an additional rest day before running Run 3. I wanted to make sure jet lag wasn't going to be a factor in any struggles with 20 minutes. The first run in the UK would then be on a sunny morning on the Moray Firth, with a fresh coastal breeze

Hi there, I was diagnosed with rosacea last week and was prescribed brimonidine gel. My redness was over my nose and on my cheeks a little, with the occasional flushing. However, since I started this gel i've been getting really bad flushing, my whole face, ears and neck flush so much they are burning

Subconjunctival hemorrhage
Has anyone else suffered from an eye hemorrhage? I'm still waiting on my APS testing but this happened to me with no vision problems, no pain and no reason a few months ago. My GP said it is seen in Lupus but I know he is only a GP and I have a negative ANA I don't think I have Lupus.

Inhalers
I always have difficulty knowing when my Salbutamol inhaler is empty and was given a tip to help me establish how full the container was. Simply pull the container off the holder and put it in a glass of water. If it sinks to the bottom, then it's full. If it floats, then it's totally empty. Floating
