Erfa confusion
Yesterday, I opened a new bottle of Erfa, 60 mg pills (exp 04/17). When I held them at a certain angle, I thought they looked different...darker and blotchy. Sure enough; I had a couple of older pills left (expiring in late 2014), and they are brighter in colour and not blotchy. Erfa denies any reformulation

Oh dear! Another PB over 5km
It must either be the colder weather or because I've left 1 run off per week recently and replaced it with a brisk walk, have also added a new excercise plan I'm doing at home. Anyway, I've sliced off over 1min from last weeks PB! Have run slightly faster! I'm liking this! It made me grin looking at

Rosacea or a Lupus Rash?!
Hey lovely people- I'm still waiting to see the new rheumatologist after a not so successful visit to the last one! This time I have been keeping a diary of symptoms and pictures. The last week I haven't been feeling great, tiredness is overwhelming and just feel like I have the flu. Anyways I seem to

Red Blotches on Cheeks Sporadically Appear? *photos* - rosacea? - eczema? - reaction?
Hello, this is my first post. I have red blotches on my cheeks that show every now and then, sometimes blatantly like tonight. They don't last long but happen often and I don't know why? It doesn't seem to be eczema as the skin is fine? It looks to be burst blood vessels or something under the skin.

HILLS AND PLATEAUS
On the day before the first anniversary of my starting C25k I set a parkrun PB of 25:41 at Killerton parkrun. Where this came from I have no idea, since it was forty seconds faster than my previous PB. I said at the time that it would probably be a long time until I bettered it. That was June 7th last

Next step chemo.
Just wondered if anyone has had carboplatin and paclitaxel chemotherapy. I am due to try this in 2 weeks as adjuvant therapy. 2 years ago I had Vinerobline and cisplatin however it was stopped due to the toxicity which didn't agree with me. Thanks. xx

Good news... finally...
I FINALLY, after 2 weeks--which is when I had the CT scan-- got the phone consult with my dr who said "The scan looks fine"... Yes, those were good words to hear...and oh dear god, yes, I AM grateful. Then he adds... it seems like all of your symptoms are coming from your ibs and anxiety... Hmmmmm..

Advice re tetracycline
I have Lupus and now also rosacea. Topical treatment has only been moderately successful and antibiotics are now under consideration. No 1 choice would be oxytetracycline. There appears to be, to me, slightly confusing information available about the potential effect of this antibiotic in those with

That didn't quite go to plan
Wk6r1 full of confidence having done the dreaded wk5r3. So at 6.15am I head to the hotel gym thinking I'll be the only sad git in there at this time. Aha not so. There is only 1 dreadmill & 1 bloke on it looking well into his stride. So niavety (?)here thinks I'll do a 5 - 10 min warm up on the cross

Its Wednesday yet again
Since I have been on this site chatting to all you lovely people I am amazed at just how fast the days seem to go, which means I am getting older quicker, but thanks to you I feel younger and grateful for what I have as some of you are in a lot of pain and have suffered so much. but still write on here
