The question is I am due tomorrow to stop my anti thyroid block and replace treatment to try for remission of my overactive thyroid caused by Graves, Obviously I am in bad shape so

End Time.
Sometimes in the past the hospital staff would approach a family member as the patient was frightened of
Opiates
. They were given the job of changing the patients mind. The patient in my cases died within twelve hours.

Hello, I'm 57 years old and I've suffered with RLS since I was 20, my name is Robert
I was given it for withdrawals from the
opiates
but it takes away my rls without
opiates
. Nothing else has worked for me.

Anxiety or something more?
When I turned 18 I started self medicating and turned to
opiates
for relief. This worked but I ended up with a heroin addiction off and on for 8 years. I finally sobered up and started having extreme panic attacks.

Reflux despite PPIs
I am allowed to make the call, but i've decided I don't want to be taking
opiates
at home for 'daily' symptoms), Gaviscon and Piriton. Is there anything in that list that is going to be doing anything disasterous?

Please help, I'm at my wits end!
I cant tolerate Amitriptyline or
opiates
, as I have a young family and a job, and I cannot function with the side effects. I take paracetamol four times a day, Ibuprofen three times, and i have Solpadine Max at bedtime (try to have it every other night).

Opiate or not....?
I was given this during detox from
opiates
... When I entered treatment for chronic pain in las Vegas it was told to me it is not a controlled substance. In Calif, however it is a controlled substance and my new Dr has advised against it due to addiction in my past.

Garden Regrets
Sadly I wrote a blog about my new home in the country and planning and planting our our new Fruit Garden, it took a long time with Hazel to prepare and plant twenty fruit trees with a further twelve varieties of soft fruits. Now we are putting in borders and moving shrubs into them, the smallest border

New here.
I'm allergic to all birth controls and I'm 21, in college, working full time- I'm not ready to have children so far the only thing I've found to help manage the pain are prescription
opiates
such as codeine and I work in health care so it's not ok for me to take these during the time that I work.

For those who are taking drugs for neuropathic pain (ex: pregabalin) or opiates, what are side effects that you feel?
Do you feel heavy breathing by taking
opiates
or drugs for neurophatic pain? This tend to disappear? After i take Pregabalin I felt I really scared, especially anxious and restless all the time. Do you have this side effects with this drugs?

Hi - have very extensive adhesions, following multiple surgeries, and Ovarian Remnant Syndrome. Need advice on pain relief
My research suggests that supervised use of mild
opiates
is rarely a problem, and that it's the unsupervised use of recreational
opiates
which leads to addiction.

Writing things down while asleep!
I am normailly on a daily basis, a load of strong
opiates
for pain control (Tapentadol and Gabapentin). Apparently, cos I can't remember doing it, I was signing with my hands, the name of my son. The nurse looking after me brought me a pad and pen.

maths solution according to the chemist.
I am baffled as the pain level has increased and the co codamol are not working and between us ( the GP and I ) are trying to avoid going on to
opiates
. Not sure if that is the right word.

Transformed Migraine
I never take
opiates
, even codeine, but I take upwards of 18 Zomig every month (which I know is far too much, but what can you do when you have a busy life and are trying to function as well as possible?)

My doctor says I have a paradoxial effect because I dont get tired on

I am addicted to painkillers and tranquilisers. My own stupid fault and I blame no one but myself. I am only human and we all make some mist
Painkillers are
opiates
from the same family as heroin so why is there no help for me? I feel lost and helpless which is hard to admit for a 56-year-old man. My GP would never agree to help me as he stereotypes me and just thinks that I am after something else to give me a high.

Did anyone who now has PSP ever use codeine/other opiates long term for pain/other reason years prior to onset? (ie T3,C2,cough syrup,or?)
From an article I found about
opiates
and taupathies. Related to Alzheimers, but wondered about PSP...could codeine/
opiates
cause PSP? Could minocycline be useful-has anyone tried it? (see end of article) Excerpt below (link to full article at end) What are the recent advances?
