A theoretical way to make mannitol work better
The underlying problem with using mannitol as a therapy for Parkinson's disease is its poor absorption in the gut. Hence it produces gas and in some cases, diarrhea. If the absorption of mannitol can be increased than it may be taken at a lower dose and also decrease its associated side effects. Other

Big GFR Improvement
Hi, I was diagnosed with CKD in Jan 16 with a GFR of 56. I was really shocked. Since then I have made massive life style changes - walking 4 miles per day, stopping alcohol (I used to drink too much), stopping caffeine, stopping eating processed food. Now I eat only natural food, drink 2-4 tea spoons

CNS vasculitis - I'm new here
I was diagnosed with retinal vasculitis in 1987 when I was about 20. No one knew much about vasculitis back then. I took high doses of prednisolone over an 18 month period and when I stopped getting more blind patches in my eyes we all thought that I had been cured. The blind patches were small, and

Green Tea for weight loss!
Just wanted to share a recent discovery with you all, and I'm very excited to do so. It's often banded about by various 'healthy living' advocates that green tea is supposed to speed up weight loss, and just over a month ago I decided to add that into my healthy eating plan. I genuinely can't believe
