Vitamins for loss
I'm taking a number of vitamins to try to stop hair loss and promote growth. I suspect it could a side effect of high dose of Levo for for thyroid condition. Need the dose to be high to feel normal. Wondering if it is beneficial to be taking this much vitamin together. Or would it be better to do alternate

Fatty acid synthase Inhibitors.
Recent media interest in the PCa study that showed that aggressive cancer cells are fat factories, is a reminder that fatty acid synthase [FAS / FASN] upregulation is a feature of a number of cancers, & has been the subject of cancer research for over 20 years. If we can reduce FAS levels in PCa cells

Now that I am finally recovering from the flu I am going to post what the daily regimen of supplements I am taking. Prior to listing the vitamins, minerals, amino acids....I am taking, I need to relate a little history. I have a degree in sculpture and was exposed to many chemicals including toluene

I began writing this yesterday after seeing the Daily Mail headline: - "Fatty Western diets make prostate cancer more aggressive" This from a newspaper that advised men to drink flaxseed oil to avoid PCa. Ugh! After a while, I became weary of the subject & the stupidity of the media, so listened to

Widespread Clotting despite High INR: Adandondment of Warfarin being advised: Begin instead begin IV Cytoxan, Antiplatet, and DOAC -
This is the back of my leg ( just above the bend of my knee ) yesterday. My arms are clotting also. When I clot, I tend to clot “ every where at once.” It’s like my body gets “ rushed “ with antibodies. I have not had any kind of dip in INR to cause this. My INR is set at about 4.0. I am in 16.75 mg

Tips/advice
Is it useful if we pool our shared experiences on how to minimise symptoms into one tread? My ‘tips’ would be (and no science here!) To combat itchy legs post shower/bath, immediately apply Epaderm cream and then trousers/tracksuit bottoms. Lack of air seems to help. To combat night leg cramps I gently

HELP ! WHICH SUPPLEMENTS TO TAKE ?
Does anyone else struggle with which supplements to take.... I’m not the slightest bit scientifically minded, which doesn’t help, but do my best to assimilate and understand all I can... I read what the experts suggest......unfortunately advice given never marries up with any products that are out there

Atypical lympho
I took a lab test today. I was so thankful to God that my AST & ALT were normal. My ESR and CRP were in normal range after I took Imuran for 14 days. Thank God it finally worked for me. But MCV and MCH were still under the normal. Hb was 11.7, Hematocrit 35.1. BUN and Urea were also under the normal

Hi..i may have asked this before but am asking again. I'm at a point with my ra that I need to make medication decisions. My option is between xeljanz or cimzia. I tend to get side effects of medications so am cautious probably over cautious In deciding. I already have high cholesterol, taking prednisone

Hi I've had diagnosed PCOS for about 3 years and I struggle with many of the symptoms, particularly hirsutism and irregular cycles. I'm vegan and eat a largely PCOS-friendly diet (90% of the time) and although I'm not officially overweight, I carry a lot of fat around my midsection regardless of me eating
