Am I Hypothyroid?
More than likely I have
Oestrogen
Dominance which could be suppressing thyroid function as my Prolactin is currently very high (975miu/l) and soon to be investigated further.

hi there, Sorry not strictly thyroid related but I trust you symptom sharing lot so I hope you donāt mind. Having sorted my thyroid replacement I can now see I have some perimenopausal symptoms. The Menopause specialist at GP is reluctant to prescribe Lenzetto & Urtogestan until I have the all clear

Anxiety or hormones?
I'm also post menopausal so low
oestrogen
. Allergies bung up the eustachian tunes cause imbalance. All of these can cause disequilibrium leading to anxiety. I had a house flood a year ago and am still in temporary accommodation. Due back soon but lots of hassle.

It paves the way to a wider discussion as to other engines of the disease beyond
oestrogen
which can only be good for a wider understanding and hopefully newer treatments for us all.

Unfortunately, I didnāt respond to the
oestrogen
. And Uterine lining was too thin so doctor didnāt want to go ahead. We tried again with a much strong dose (6mg of
oestrogen
+ 2 estrodial patches + 2 estrodial gel. ) Again, it didnāt work. Now we donāt know what to do.

Questions regarding an oestrogen cream (Ovestin) and its effect specifically on hypothyroidism but also in general
However, despite GPās assurance that as long as it isnāt oral
oestrogen
, I need not worry about
oestrogen
dominance or weight gain, I remain nervous to use it.

Help! cascade of hormonal events after Covid booster! Not sure where to turn nextā¦
She also gave me 100
oestrogen
patches to try. The question is is this lowering progesterone or too low
oestrogen
? Iāve heard too high can make anxiety worse so Iām nervous about trying it. Why donāt they do blood tests?!

Thyroid question please...
Looking into
oestrogen
dominance, as low b12 can sometimes not get rid of excess oesteogen i have read yesterday. I have been told to wean off hrt, so I feel more down, and I have heigthened b12 symtpoms while undergoing the first parts of treatment. A phenomena called 'reversing out' I am told.

Hot flushes after ovarian cancer surgery
Anyone found a good supplement that can be used by those of us for whom HRT is contraindicated ( alot I read about have natural ingredients which mimic
oestrogen
so are advised not suitable for ovarian cancer patients). Thank you Jholly

How big are AA tablets
Meds involving
oestrogen
are also out because I had breast cancer 4 years ago. My T scores are -3.3 lumbar, -4.5 neck of femur and -5.1 hip, caused mostly by a spinal cord injury 45 years ago (hence why lowest in my body has the worst score) but also sarcoidosis and post-cancer drugs.

just a quick one at the mo-
I have been treated for many years, and following my early breast cancer in 2021, the subsequent aromatose inhibitor (to reduce the
oestrogen
levels in my body to help prevent recurrance) has played havoc with my BP, cholesterol and thyroid meds.
