UP AND COMING ENDO APPT
Hi I would appreciate any advice or facts to get a prescription of T4. Graves patient. I have been told unofficially by the hospital Endo over the phone I am T3 dominant. I was also told that on 30 Sept I will not be starting block and replace but rather there is another plan for me plus on top of that

How on Earth did I get here?
In May my GP prescribed
oestrogen
cream. (telling me not to read the side effects- which I of course did) and mentioned ‘irritable bladder syndrome’ linked to post menopausal problems for the first time and told me to look it up.

Potential epilepsy/undiagnosed
Hi all, just wondered if anybody here has experienced similar to me. I haven’t been diagnosed with epilepsy but I suspect I may have it. I’m a 23 year old female, and since 2017 I have been experiencing migraines with aura but I’ve never had a painful migraine after or if I do it’s less than an hour

Reaction to estrogen
Has anyone had a reaction to oral estrogen? My father has been taking HONVAN for past two weeks and he developed painful gynecomastia and skin rashes for past 3-4 days. Currently we have stopped the honvan tablet until we get next appointment with the MO.

Hi does anyone know when would be a good idea to retest thyroid after starting HRT as I read that
oestrogen

Tamoxifen how long?
I started on tamoxifen for nipple soreness. This has definitely made it better. I have two questions.1. How long should I stay on tamoxifen or should I check in estrogen level? 2. Does having high estrogen have any benefit in the treatment of prostate cancer? If it does, I can live with the soreness

Query after a failed IVF cycle
Was told to continue with the
oestrogen
and cyclogest pessaries for 3 days and to ring this morning after re-testing (due to not yet having a bleed). Re-test is negative as we thought.

When to stop oestrogen?
There doesn’t appear to be any advice about
oestrogen
though. The clinic appear happy for me to reduce from 2 patches every other day to 1 and then stopping completely at week 11. If anyone has been on
oestrogen
in any form and achieved a pregnancy, at what point did you stop taking it?

Ranting alert! rubbish EC feeling very low
I’ve spoken to the consultant and it looks I may have ovulated early which apparently can happen with low amh or looking at the
oestrogen
levels there may have been fewer eggs than they thought.

Links with Hypothyroidism / Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease - Low TSH / T3 treatment. low Vit D / Post Menopause - Anyone reversed NAFLD?
I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism some 10 odd years ago. (previously Hyper and treated with Carbimazole) GP / Thyroxine only treatment left me with a list of health problems where I was referred to an Endo 3 years ago. After I was successfully trialled on T3 /T4 combo treatment I stabilised and felt

Progesterone levels too high?
Hi there, I had my levels checked yesterday - transfer day (day 5 blast) in a fresh IVF cycle - and the clinic said they were “fine” and to continue with cyclogest 400mg pessaries three times a day (1200mg per day). I asked for the number and they said >254nmol/L which seems really high. They did explain

Advice on hcg testing please !
I’m taking lubion 2x a day and 2 x cyclogest plus the
oestrogen
tablets 3x a day and blood thinner . I think the chances of a miscarriage at this stage are around 25 % I’m 35) . My husband thinks we should do blood hcg testing privately as it’s not offered by our nhs clinic.

Could I have Myasthenia Gravis, please help!
Hi everyone, I wonder if you could help me out. Could my symptoms be related to Myasthenia Gravis? I've been very sick for some time, which has got progressively worse over the years (7 years now, the last 2 have been very bad). I've started to attach my symptoms to acetylcholine as when I eat foods

Menopause and endo
On another point, I wonder if we have an excess of
oestrogen
as endo sufferers, does that mean the menopause could be less agressive than for some others? Ie we have more to start with so does that mean we have less impact? Anyway, sorry for long post Gio x
