Is your HRT working?
Hi ladies Just a post to say that my hrt patches were not a good fit for me. I was on combined patches post total hysterectomy bso 10 months ago and seems I wasnt absorbing from them, I was up to 3 x patches to cover sweats and sleep. I had skin irritation where they were glued to me, often red square

endometrium lining
On week two and my lining still not thick enough for transfer proposed for Monday. Currently 6mm, i am on estrogen and the doc is adding Viagra. Apparently Viagra though controversial helps thicken the lining as it encourages blood flow to help increase lining

Cycle update - clomid delay?
Today a blood test showed my
oestrogen
is just starting to creep up, so because it is at least going in the right direction, they said to wait a couple of days and resasses because some people have a delayed response to clomid.

Is menopause possible with normal FSH levels?
But I’ve had my hormones checked twice and everything came back normal apart from low
oestrogen
the first time (I find that so odd for endo!) Has anyone been confirmed going through menopause but with normal fsh, and how was it confirmed? I don’t want to push for more tests if it’s definite.

Cardiac arrhythmia considerations of hormone cancer therapies.
Following on from my recent "Tachycardia" post, here is a new French-American paper on treatment arrhythmia: "Breast and prostate cancers are among the most prevalent cancers worldwide. Estradiol and progesterone are major drivers for breast cancer proliferation, as well as androgens for prostate cancer

Frustrated - please help me with my battle plan :)
In the United States... So, last year my daughter was diagnosed hypothyroid. In studying up on that, I suspected I was too - brain fog, fatigue, low basal temp, high bp, insomnia, mild depression among other things. In Nov. I got doc to order labs. He wanted to take a wait and see based on numbers

Post Endo concerns
Hi everyone I have a few concerns but I’m not sure if I’m over thinking my situation, it would be great to hear from anyone’s experiences :)! I’m approaching 25 and was finally diagnosed with both PCOS and endometriosis aged 23. I take medication for PCOS, including the pill, and had a lap for my endo

First month pain free in years
Took some time off work and decided to give up my hrt as I’m sure the endo was still fuelled by the
oestrogen
in the hrt. Flashes are grim moods are a bit low but my period was due a wk ago and nothing no period no pain and no flare up so far so good.

Estrogen and hair loss
I'd be grateful if anyone can enlighten me to what is happening to my scalp. I started having problems with my scalp hair at 44 I'm now 46 so very unlikely that I'm estrogen dominate. Everything I read tells me estrogen is good for your hair. As it encourages growth and prolongs the growth stage. I

For women, estrogen HRT orally raises risk of blood clots, transdermal does not
...A study in BMJ found that hormone replacement delivered through the skin by injection or skin patch entails no increased risk for blood clots. British researchers looked at 80,396 women who had blood clots while on various H.R.T. regimens, comparing them with 391,494 controls. After adjusting for

Thyroid/ peri menopausal link.
After reading the attached article i can not help thinking that due to the feedback from lowering sex hormones this would give us a high TSH reading but would reflect low
oestrogen
, progesterone, testosterone which is creating the higher-ed TSH. but if i understand correctly does not mean we have thyroid

Surgical menopause and maybe diagnosed wrong?
Hi this is my first time posting here and I hope someone can shed some light on my situation. I had surgical menopause over a year ago and struggled to find a HRT that suited. I eventually got one an estrogen gel and have been using this for about 5 months. I was referred to an endocrinologist because

9dp5dt AF has arrived and a BFN 😭 Advice for what to ask the clinic?
Also to ask about why I’ve not been given
oestrogen
for the 2ww and to say that I’ve never had my thyroid tested. I’ve had 4 scratches now. Very thankful to have 5 embryos in the freezer but panicking as to why none of them so far are working. These 2 embryos looked so good.

Biotin
Hi all, I am wondering whether adding biotin to my diet would be good for my hair or not because my cancer is estrogen strongly positive. Could you please share your experience?

Zytiga side effects
Zytiga works by blocking mineralocorticoids, glucocorticoids, and Androgens and Estrogens. Prednisone makes up for the glucocorticoids but why is there no therapy given for the mineralocortoids which upsets the sodium and potassium balance.
