Hi, can anyone give me any feedback on the blood results I have received please? I am nearly 5 years into Surgical Menopause, Ovaries removed. More than likely I have Oestrogen Dominance which could be suppressing thyroid function as my Prolactin is currently very high (975miu/l) and soon to be investigated further. For the past 7 months I have been trying to find a more balanced HRT regime (NHS put all post-surgical women on Oestrogen only, which causes further issues) I am now replacing all sex hormones. I feel the addition of Progesterone has helped with many symptoms, however I still experience symptoms which relate more to thyroid dysfunction; chronic fatigue, sensitivity to cold, low mood, no motivation, difficulty to lose any weight, cognitive dysfunction (similar to ADHD type symptoms) etc
Could it be that if I try to resolve the high Prolactin, this will help the thyroid to function better and resolve some of the current symptoms I’m experiencing?
Any advice is much appreciated.
Thankyou in advance

Thankyou for your reply, please don’t apologise. The bloods were taken at 9am. Ferritin and B12 actually came back flagged as high. I only stopped supplementing a B complex a week or 2 prior to the test though. B12 came back at 150pmol and Ferritin 179ug/l
Folate was normal.
I was, at the time of the test, feeling very run down.
