Menopause
Hi everyone, do you think there is a link between Menopause and lack of estrogen? Just asking your views on this. I was prescribed HRT at 41 yearss old and on it for 14 years. T started 4/5 years later. Also....the T was quiet yesterday and is today but last 2 weeks had spikes. Do you have no T

Hypothyroid with hair loss
hi everyone, I am recently diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and have had hormone issues since I was 38 (now 46). I have suffered with extensive hairloss since 38 too and not thinning - literally massive bald patches that blend into bigger patches - I now have about 35% of my hair left. (I have to wear wigs

Does the Mirena increase PMDD symptoms?
Hi, I am a 45 year old woman who was diagnosed with PMDD in 2020. That same Psychiatrist recommended the Mirena to help manage the PMDD and the heavy periods. It did lighten the cycle with quite a few side effects including headaches, spotting every day for 1 year. My gyno has revealed to me that the

HRT and Hashimotos
I am on 75mcg Levo and 15 of T3. I started HRT 2 weeks ago, 2 pumps of the oestrogen gel in morning and 100 mcg of progesterone at night. I have felt very tired and flat since Tuesday and am wondering does HRT mess with thyroid meds?

HRT Following hysterectomy
Hi, I’ve recently had total hysterectomy and oophorectomy with extensive excision of endo. I’ve started HRT (oestrogen gel & progesterone tablets) but I’m experiencing pain in my lower back and legs like I used to get with endo, has anybody else experienced this, and if so how did you manage it? *Sensitive* Early miscarriage? Or still hope?
As mentioned in a previous post I started spotting/bleeding Sunday after getting a BFP on Tuesday (8th). This had continued all this week, it’s definitely been heavier at times but not full on flow and has ranged from brown to red to pink. I would say there has been some clotting but there is a a lot

Poor T3 conversion
Hi not posted on here for a long time as I’ve been really well on levothyroxine for around 5 years now. Had dose increased yearly as test results required but recently been feeling similar symptoms to when my tsh levels are too high... fatigue, low mood, muscle pains generally just fuzzy. TSH levels

Oestrogel and utrogestan
My GP put me on
Oestrogel
and utrogestan in May this year in the hope that it would help I use 2 pumps a day and utrogestan vaginally every 2nd day. My stomach is still not behaving, I'm starting to wonder if the utrogestan is irritating my bladder and bowel, anyone else experienced this?

Prognova wrong dosage
I’m started my estrogen patches last Sunday and one estrogen tablet a day in preparation for my FET cycle. In the past I’ve been on 6 prognova tablets a day as my linning has been slow/stubborn to build up. I’ve just looked at my meds tonight and I’ve made a mega mistake. I should have been taking 1

Pretty quick failure of ADT + Zytiga... next?
Quick history: 2019 PSA of 20, a few probable spinal mets, bicalutamide monotherapy mid-2020 for six months failed early-2021 after PSA dropped to 3.8. Tried to initiate ADT via tE2 with estrogen patches in Spring 2021, but could not get T to castrate levels, stubbornly above 150 even at higher doses

Confirmation on my HRT strategy please
Hi there - I am on lenzetto oestrogen spray - 1 pump a day and 200mg of utrogestan (progesterone). I have been reading around and atm, keeping track of the cycle is a pain. Now, I understand i can just choose to take the 200mg of progesterone (the Utogestan) for 12 days starting on the same day each

Can anyone discuss having a full hysterectomy with me please?
I have a benign cyst on my ovary, which seems to have been there ages and shows no signs of going away on it's own. Ive been having a lot of symptoms which may be caused by it. I am 64 so of course have gone through the menopause. My consultant wants to give me a full hystectomy, but I am uncertain

And so the journey begins again...
After over a year since my last cycle failed, I start oestrogen on my next bleed, so any day now. I don't tend to post often, but read your posts and feel for all of you on this long and difficult journey. Wishing you all success x

Diagnosed but…. What now?
I’ve been diagnosed with ‘severe’ endo and although it is great to finally know what it is - I am so confused about the next step!! They basically said it’s low and deep and very near blood vessels and nerve endings so removal, although possible, would require very highly skilled surgery and will likely

HRT and Ovarian Cancer
Hi everyone. I was diagnosed end of 2020. Stage 1c endometriod adenocarcinoma at the age of 41. I was told I wasn't allowed HRT and assumed they meant forever.. so I figured out ways to help my body get through the menopause. Now just over a year later I'm doing great. I'm waiting for my yearly ct
