Hi there - I am on lenzetto oestrogen spray - 1 pump a day and 200mg of utrogestan (progesterone). I have been reading around and atm, keeping track of the cycle is a pain. Now, I understand i can just choose to take the 200mg of progesterone (the Utogestan) for 12 days starting on the same day each *calendar* month.
So am i right in thinking I can just do the prog for 12 days starting ont he 1st of each calendar month? Its a nightmare to keep track of otherwise!
With the lenzetto its just one pump a day every day isnt it?
Thanks,
Melissa

Hi it depends on if you are still having periods, if you are then you take utrogestan for 12/14 days of your cycle. I did 14 2 weeks on 2 weeks off easy to remember. I am using the gel rather than the spray, if you are having regular periods start your spray on the first day of your period that is the beginning of cycle. If not start when you feel ready. I have done some reading and get a lot of information from Dr Louise Newson she is a leader on the menopause. Look up her website
This is similar to my issue (I’m new posted last night for first time ). Not sure about my periods as was on cerazette (POP) to stop them for 10 years. So Gp suggested daily progesterone (utergestan) but started with breakthrough bleeding after a couple of months, which was a pain as so unpredictable. Gp suggested go back on cerazette but weight gain and sore boobs so stopped it again , then had a ? Withdrawl bleed from coming off that 😂. Been doing research into what dose of progesterone to take and wondering if the 2 week cycle would work better as at least a predictable bleed, what do you think ? Is this what you’re now doing Melissa?
