low T4 and T3 normal TSH
I posted earlier in the year about my daughter diagnosed with post partum thyroiditis , no treatment at the time but endocrinologist said he’d keep an eye on her! Her most recent results seem odd to me in that both T4 and T3 are very low but her TSH is also low - her case has been closed and results

Cholesterol Levels?
Has anyone noticed a relationship between their cholesterol levels and severity/progression of their liver disease? As the experts predicted I now have my 3rd uti. I rang my surgery yesterday on the off chance I could get a repeat script but I don’t why I bothered because I just got the usual response of - no chance were fully booked- ring 111. So I rang at about 4-30 pm -and 111 was also fully booked I think because

Finally diagnosed after twenty years!
I have finally got a diagnosis of IBS after at least twenty years of endoscopies, colonoscopies, scans, investigations, etc, etc. Strangely I feel much better even though they say it's a lifelong condition with no cure. My problem today is that it's after half past six in the evening, I have had one

Raised Liver Markers - Octasa/ Mesalamine?
I started taking Octasa for Crohns in October 23. Just had blood tests (for another issue) and dr called to say that my liver enzyme markers were raised (ALT 255, AST 99, ALP 239, GT 334.. all substantially above the top end of normal) and they want to do an ultrasound to check my liver. The only difference

IBS and wind
I have had IBS for years and I am really suffering at the moment not only with the unpredictability of BMs but also terrible bloating and wind. It seems to be worse as soon as I go out shopping or to social events. I wonder if anxiety is partly to blame. I keep a food diary and am really careful

Research on effect of red light
Not directly thyroid related but it sheds some light on how we might improve our metabolism at the cellular level, which our thyroids should be partaking in. The text is from my Facebook post, so the tone is for a different audience! https://youtu.be/6Win49aeh8A?si=c7sxkdvvzmceR2lN I highly recommend

Until now, they provided Euthyrox with lactose from November, we now have Euthyrox with mannitol and citric acid instead of lactose.האם מישהו לקח את האוטירוקס החדש עם נימון? האם הרגשת שינוי לטובה או לרעה? אני באמת מפחד מהשינוי, תודה על כל עזרה.

Maintenance Chemo
I was diagnosed with stage 2 endometrioid cancer five years ago. I went through chemo treatments: carboplatin and taxol. I even had IP belly washes of taxol. They are not doing these any longer in the US. Sadly, my cancer reoccurred six months ago. I was cancer free and in remission for five years. The
