Update 7.7.5 = Benign
Thanks to all who responded to my last post. The news on the growth removed from my face was good news. It was benign, a Seborrheic Keratosis that suddenly had become inflamed. Due to the coloration, it looked a possible malignant growth, which is why I had it checked out. I would encourage everyone

afib and medication
persistent afib for at least 7 years, tia 3 months ago, afterwards on xarelto, constant diarrhea, wondering if this is a result of xarelto, stopped flexinite, due to dizziness, very tired all the time, cardioversion was recommended, but was not done because I could not tolerate flexinite and had to agree

Hi, I’ve suffered from stomach issues since December 2022. The obvious stuff - bloating, constipation and then diarrhoea, minor cramps, and nausea etc. I’m in my 4th doctors appointment for the problem, and all my blood tests are clear. I’ve recently been given IBS relief tablets, but I’m hesitant

Who has had cataract surgery with a bleb?
So as is the way with this condition, you cruise for a while then your eyes decide they do not wish to play ball! So basically I’ve been noticing a decrease in clarity with my right eye. The Glaucoma clinic doesn’t think I’m an urgent case so I’m waiting till November where I will see a nurse 😒.

Abdomen pain - IBS
I have suffered with IBS since for 35 years and the pain was always on the left hand side and lower bowel. Had alternating constipation and diarrhoea but managed with occasional use of fybogel. For the last couple of years however have had terrible upper abdomen pain and bloating too. Have had gastroscopy

Omeprazole - or Lansoprazole
I’ve been taking 20 mg of Omeprazole daily ever since I was diagnosed with PMR almost 3 years ago. However: when I collected my last repeat prescription I see that this time it’s Lansoprazole - and it’s 30mg instead of 20! And to take it between 30-60 mins before food, whereas the Omeprazole never

Nails!
My nails are really deteriorating, soft, bendy, peeling. They’ve been poor for ages but this is much worse. Nothing topical is helping. I’m on 75 mcgs levothyroxine and my TSH levels are good - and on 0.01 % estriol cream for dryness. Could it be that which is making the difference, although I was

bed wetting has stopped but now child is highly emotional?
hi, just wondering if anyone here that’s had a child that wets the bed had any emotional problems when they stopped? I certainly didn’t expect that stopping bed wetting would cause us any problems 🤦🏼♀️. So this last wee my 9 year old girl has been dry at night. Great news… but now she’s so emotional

Warfarin.
Is anyone with Coeliac taking anything other than Warfarin for AF? I manage my INR ok. I find it a problem at times. GP said it is better I take it. They can check because I might not absorb others well. Because green veg affects it. Holidays and meals out can cause problems. On holidays, my diet

Asbestos
Hi, everybody I had breathing problems last year. Went to my doctor & had a blood test that night I got a call to go straight to local hospital. Was there for14 hours but excellent service. Found build up of liquid in lungs & my ankles & lower legs were bigger. I had been cutting my socks as I thought
