Advice on my results
Last year I was diagnosed with a premature menopause after my estrogen and fsh levels were tested (I was 40), I had an MRI as I have previously had a very large acoustic
neuroma
and was worried it had regrown (due to all the symptoms) which is hadn't, but they found the macroadenoma instead.

MRI
I have had AN for the last 17years mine is small and hasn’t grown much, I’m do for a MRI on the 24th at Addenbrookes, I normally have one every two years just to check if it has grown. The AN doesn’t bother me much if it wasn’t for the tinnitus I wouldn’t know it was there, I have many health issues

How long do results from Mri Scan?
Hi there, I had an Mri scan two weeks ago as the consultant in the ent department thinks my symptoms could be due to an AN. I have mid hearing loss (I can hear high and low sounds but not mid range) and it's worse in my right ear. My right ear often feels blocked and I get occasional tinnitus. I have

So good to be back
I was off with what I thought was a broken metatarsal; turns out my GP thinks I have a Morton’s
Neuroma
so I’m off to the MSK service to get it treated. But, to hell with the pain. It hurts less running than walking and it feels so great to be out there again.

PMR/ OSTEOARTHRITES QUESTION. Direction appreciated.
They did find a
neuroma
as well. I apologize for the post to so long, but I think it's better than having questions going back and forth. I really don't mind answering questions. Kind of rainy and damp here today after beautiful weather. Maybe that's the culprit, but it's going on too long.

Reanimation surgery for delayed nerve recovery
I had an acoustic
neuroma
brain tumour removed in October last year leaving me with complete left sided facial paralysis. I’m now 7 months post surgery and seeing some signs of recovery on an EMG but nothing translating into movement in my face yet.just my facial tone has improved.

5 Years post surgery
My husband had his 4th follow up MRI since his AN surgery. As usual (knock wood) there is no sign of anything except scar tissue which is normal. He has dizziness problems, deaf in right ear and tinnitus, but he's had the tinnitus since the Viet Nam war. While it was not good to find out that he

Memory Loss/Concentration
I had an acoustic
neuroma
removed at the end of 2009. Since then I feel like have had difficulty articulating my thoughts. Another component that I feel like I am noticing more is overall memory loss and difficulty concentrating and staying focused on tasks. Is this common?

Post Op Symptoms
Hi. My name is Victoria. My husband had an AN removed 10 months ago. It was 3.5 cm, calcified, and pushing against his brain stem. They had to sacrifice some nerves(7th and 8th). He doesn't have any facial function on the left side, but has had the 5th to 7th nerve transfer and nerve reconstruction

Advice needed
Hi everyone I've recently been diagnosed with a AN I've been having problems with my balance, tinnitus, hearing loss along with severe headaches. My consultant said after my last scans that I should try radiotheraphy over 6 weeks to try and shrink it. Has anybody else had this? He's also mentioned

Accustic Neuroma. 2nd time surgery
Need good opinion. I have diagnosed AN in 2014 later on my surgery was successful and tumour removed not fully but part of small tumor kept alive on facial nerve followed by Gamma knife. Again some period of time I went to the doctor for follow up same condition came in shape of size gaining . Again
