Please look at my last post.
If anybody has an Acoustic
neuroma
, please look at my last post and see if any of my symptoms would possibly be related to an acoustic
neuroma
, thank you.

Advice for Neurologist appointment
The MRI showed a small Accoustic
Neuroma
3mm on my left side. I had never heard of either before. I was given medication for the Menieres and put on Watch & Wait for the AN. No problem happy to have finally received a diagnosis and medication. I wasn't that worried about the AN as it is so small.

Methotrexate not working
Histology determines I did not have a
neuroma
after all - it was a very large rheumatoid nodule. This has concerned my orthopaedic consultant. Why did it not get picked up before and then why did it not respond to meds? Also my other foot is showing similar symptoms.

I came through
But i had a bleed to the brain during op and ended up having to have a shunt, was in hospital for two months altogether, but nearly a year on I'm pretty much back to normal although still have balance problems and some taste issues. Due to have MRI in Jan hoping there won't be any re growth.

Introduction
Hi Guys, I've been reading posts, so I do want to introduce myself. Ten years ago, my lips and side of my face turned numb and my balance was bad. We had cobblestones in our yard which I could only negotiate with great concentration. My husband and I danced often and he was afraid to swing me out.

Help
hi, I am 9yrs post surgery for acoustic

Awaiting CTscan results
Hi, I have had pulsatile tinnitus and fullness in ear in my left ear for over 6 months now. The ENT specialist conducted a hearing test and pressure test and although my hearing was not showing that different to my right ear the pressure was greatly reduced. I do get some pain like stabbing now and then

Hello . I am recovering from AN surgery which took place 8 weeks today . A 10 hour op . The facial palsy is improving but still very numb and my left eye aches . A 9 month roller coaster.
Back in February 2017 I woke up one morning and found I was deaf in one ear. I went straight to the doctor which led to an audiology appointment and then an MRI. Alongside this other symptoms developed particularly pain in the teeth and jaw and poor balance. I was treated with steroids and painkillers

Still Dizzy
My husband had successful AN surgery about 4 years ago. They indicated that they got the entire tumor. Each year he gets an Mri and there is still nothing there. However, every once in a while he gets very dizzy, fatigued, and almost feels like he did just weeks after the surgery. He also has ringing

Private tinnitus clinics
I have right sided tinnitus probably caused by an acoustic
neuroma
. I have had it for 9 years and generally cope but when I am low it just takes over as it is now and I struggle to get back on track.

Surgery on wee finger?
I had surgery to remove a
neuroma
/benign tumour, NF2, on my left elbow five years ago, but my wee finger on my left hand is now about 30% of normal, it catches on things, caught on a metal tape, [cut it right down to the bone], and frying pan, it is so tight that it actually pulls itself into my palm
