So frustrated with it all
I had surgery to remove my acoustic
neuroma
about 7 years ago. I was diagnosed with a regrowth (same exact size as when I initially went in) at my first follow up MRI two years later.

Gamma Knife
hi, I was diagnosed with an AN in Feb 17. It was found to be growing so I had gamma knife surgery in july 18. Four months have passed since the treatment and I have noticed that my tinnitus has got a lot worse than before the treatment, I have a check up planned in January 2019 to see if the surgery

Can Tuberculosis medicine cause Tinnitus?
At first, i thought i might have acoustic
neuroma
, but i don't have any of the symptoms (i can balance things normally, can feel and control my face normally v.v). So i thought maybe my tb medicine caused it. Although this is already my 3rd month taken it, i only had tinnitus since last week.

Diagnosis in 2013 but symptoms have returned
I was diagnosed with what I now know and have been told was a very small acoustic
neuroma
measuring 4x3mm in 2013 but has slowly but steadily grown to over 11mm as per my last annual consultation in September 2018.

Acoustic neuroma - two months post surgery difficulty in speaking and fumbling with words
I underwent an acoustic
neuroma
surgery two months ago. Recovery is going good. I have headaches, imbalance, easy fatigue and diplopia at times. But one thing which has been bothering me constantly is difficulty in framing my sentences and memory issues.

Supporting a friend who's just been diagnosed...
Hi, I'm writing to hopefully get some advice on how best to support a friend who's just been diagnosed with a 9mm AN. To give some background, he's been suffering hearing loss and balance problems for almost a year but put them down to a persistent ear infection, something he'd been following up resulting

Newly Diagnosed (today) and curious!
Had it confirmed today that I have a large A/N that needs surgery - and I guess now, that I just sit back and wait for that. My close family who I have told are all in more of a panic than I am because I think people hear 'brain tumour' and immediately think the worst. I get that its benign and I'm thankful

Does anyone know if you have to disclose having a neuroma removed when getting holiday insurance. My husband has been told he's fit to fly.

Just been diagnosed
Hi all, Just been diagnosed on Thursday as having an A/N, 11 mm,waiting now for a referral to a neurologist at LGI leeds. Went to ENT after my tinnitus worsened, luckily my consultant sent me for an MRI. Had one in 2001 when I started with tinnitus and it was clear, so this came as a bit of a shock,

Looking for some advice please
I have recently been diagnosed with a Morton’s
neuroma
which is causing me to walk awkwardly and causing severe knee pain. I have had 8 courses of antibiotics in the last 18 months for numerous infections...ear, (repeated) nasal, kidney, chest, hpylori and also low Vitamin D.

Sports Podiatrist appointment yesterday
I also have a slight Morton
neuroma
I know, just shoot me really 😂😂😂😂. The pain the next day is caused by my calves, and hamstrings being forced into a different position to run and walk and obviously they complain the next day. The solution, custom made orthotics.

Painful foot- Mortons Neuroma
See https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/mortons-
neuroma
/ My physio has noticed that my left leg is weaker than my right and is causing the knee to turn in. Excersises and massage to the foot have already made a difference , reducing the swelling and he says it is curable.
