Very very promising scientific breakthrough!!
Hi all, I have edited this post to delete the link I provided to a company which was a scam. The essence of what I was trying to say is that there may be a link between rls and poor gut health. Scientists are learning just how intelligent microbacteriums are, how they can make you depressed, anxious,

Primary or Secondary? I'm confused..
I was wondering how to know the difference between primary and secondary vasculitis. I am anca negative and was checked twice. How can the doctor tell the difference?

I am becoming increasingly unsteady, even with my husbands support, when we go out and I am afraid of falling due to my ataxia; especially if he has to go off for a minute and there's nowhere to sit down. At such times I rely on a walking stick to maintain my balance but it's scary. So the time has come

Restoractive yoga
I have been diagnosed with post thoracotomy pain syndrome and intercostal neuralgia. I am constantly in pain, my therapist advised me to try restorative yoga. It is gentle form of exercise that stretches dyfunctional or damaged muscles. It prioritizes on stillness, calmness and deep breathing. It does

Peripheral Neuropathy with Taxotere Chemo
I have the beginnings of peripheral neuropathy at chemo cycle 5 and it seems to be slowly getting worse. It's mainly in my hands, but I also felt it in my foot today for a little while. I only have one cycle to go so I'm hoping I can hold out until I finish. It's really mild right now, but I'm concerned

Gabapentin
Neurontin (Gabapentin) is for nerve pain. Horizant (Gabapentin XL) is for pain and RLS. In fact it's reported that Neurontin can make RLS worse. Unfortunately Horizant is only available in US and not in UK.

SAME SYMPTOMS BUT ALSO DIFFERENT?
Hi there, I'm new here and have a question. Do any of you also suffer blurred vision? That was my first symptom, about 3 months before nerve pain started. I have the numbness, tingling and burning that everyone writes about but I also get electric shocks" in every part of my body, including my face.

At my wits end.
I have oseoarthritis in my right hip and severe coxidynia. I have tried steroid injections, Ibuprofen, voltaren, and other anti- inflammatory medications. They take the edge off the pain but it never goes away. I have also visited a chiropractor, osteopath and physiotherapist. Nothing seems to help.

Sharp electric shock in my neck when walking down the street.
Diagnosed with PD a year ago but Meds never seemed to help. My sciatic nerve is inflamed also. The electric shock was massive and was one off. Not sure what this means?
