Parkinson disease as it remains incurable but approach to diagnosis also seems multi-faceted malady according to risk factors associated it . A recent study reveals that there is a relationship between PD and low fat milk and stated " Those who consumed at least three servings of low-fat dairy a day had a 34 percent higher risk of getting the disorder than those who only consumed one serving a day. " But the study looks doubt and stressed much to give a close attention whether to find cause and effect . The specific kind of milk touched by the Researchers was skim milk whilst no effect found drinking whole milk .

Obviously can't draw conclusions from only one person but anicdotaly I've never consumed low fat dairy products having always thought that they have been over processed and hence probably not good for you. I'm pleased now that the general health opinion has swung my way!

Still have PD though!

The same here - I always avoided anything low fat and still got PD.

I read the report and I think it needs to be kept in pperspective .I think it said 1% of people developed PD whilst 0.6% who didn't have low fat in the control group did. A very low incidence which on its own without further research doesn't amount to much

Probably this study regards as preliminary and further peer-review is needed to delve and explain the phenomenon behind this relationship . Actually Parkinson disease still remains unknown its precision medicine although striving and endeavoring by scientists to come up the Cocktail treatment and customized care of personal .
