Pseudo-science practices such as homeopathy', '

Help me find a Neurologist in Orlando/Tampa area. Prefer someone open to dialogue and an appreciation of naturopathic medicine
I have PD for 10 years. I have been patient of Dr. Mischley for the last 3 years. I find her approach extremely helpful and I want to continue to follow her advice I haven’t seen a neurologist for a couple of years. Everyone I saw before was not helpful in the least but I feel i need to find someone

What is naturopathic nutritional therapy?
In 2012, after 3 years of study at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London, out into the world I went, as a newly qualified Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist. A time when banking and a daily commute from Crystal Palace into Canary Wharf, in London, were still the mainstay of my fabric, but not

Need Advice
I need some advice. To make a long story short, a friend went through augmentation on dopamine agonists, tapered off and Gabapentin was prescribed 600mg at 4 hrs and 2 hours before bedtime (total dose 1200mg). Additionally, hydrocodone was prescribed to relieve severe RLS and PLMD. Hydrocodone 10 mg

ADT + Creatine?
I'm on Orgovyx and Nubeqa, and we all know these ADT drugs reduce muscle mass and lead to muscle loss. Besides frequent resistance training, has anyone supplemented with creatine powder? Any benefit or side effects or counter-reactions?

Off label uses for Inbrija?
I've just started experimenting with Inbrijia. So far, so good for a rescue med. I seem to be back on in 10-15 mins with one toke. Has any one experimented with Inbrija for other uses? For example, I think it would work great for those times when I eat a meal with protein and then realize it's time

5 years on since chatting to a few professionals in controlling RSL and I'm still twisted as I was 5 years ago and yes still alive. Only difference to back then is I now see a neurologist every 3 months (4 visits in now) Brain scan can back all good checking block results coming up in November 2024.

the best probiotics for Parkinson's
I would like to try Lactobacillus plantarum PS128, which was originally isolated from a fermented foodstuff, has been shown, in multiple experimental models, to possess the characteristics of a psychobiotic, being able to modulate dopamine and serotonin levels in the central nervous system, as well as

4am and still up!!!
I don't post much because my RLS isn't too bad most nights.I tried adding that both my kidneys have failed because of catching Covid for the second time and already I have a number of health issues. I am on Peritoneal Dialysis and I am diabetic. I treat my RLS with 75mg Pregabalin, I know it's nothing

Appointment with Dr Robin Fackrell
I have an appointment with Dr Fackrell tomorrow morning and am feeling anxious. It's about my RLS and I am hoping that he will allow me to come off Ropinirol and start Buprenorphine. I am having to slowly increase the amount of Ropinirol I take to ease the symptoms. I am now taking 1.25mg a day in four

NAD infusion therapy
Is it save to have a NAD (nicotinamide-adenine dinucleotide) infusion while taking acalabrutinib? My PA recommended I check with the pharmacist who was uncertain if it was ok. My fatigue is getting worse. Has anyone else found this to be helpful? Thanks!

Cogan's syndrome
Hello! Does anyone here have Cogan's syndrome? I was diagnosed last year. My symptoms started straight after my second COVID vaccine and worsened after my 3rd. I'm on Mycophenolate but think I'm becoming less tolerant to it. I feel sedated weak and nauseous. Has anyone else had this?

Need help
My name is Erykah I have lived with Lupus and APS for a long time. I also have several neuropathies. I have occasionally had a weird symptom when I pass water. It’s difficult to explain but sometimes I get this sensation in my hands like tingling or a very mild electric shock. It is very odd and I wondered

Cryotherapy
I’m wondering if wearing ice mitts or socks really does prevent neuropathy during docetaxel treatment? Our oncologist tells us that there’s no real evidence that the use of either of these can prevent CIPN from developing.

Desensitization protocol
Hello ladies, After switching to docetaxel due to a strong reaction to taxol, I had a similar reaction although milder to the second docetaxel infusion. So now my doctor wants me to try nab paclitaxel. I know it’s supposed to be less allergenic but the risk is not 0 even with this one. I have a preexisting
