Help me find a Neurologist in Orlando/Tampa area. Prefer someone open to dialogue and an appreciation of naturopathic medicine
I have PD for 10 years. I have been patient of Dr. Mischley for the last 3 years. I find her approach extremely helpful and I want to continue to follow her advice I haven’t seen a neurologist for a couple of years. Everyone I saw before was not helpful in the least but I feel i need to find someone

What is naturopathic nutritional therapy?
In 2012, after 3 years of study at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London, out into the world I went, as a newly qualified Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist. A time when banking and a daily commute from Crystal Palace into Canary Wharf, in London, were still the mainstay of my fabric, but not

Hi I’m Barbara, I have suffered now for around 19 years with RLS. I get a burning sensation after being in bed for and hour or so. It feels as though I’m sleeping on an electric blanket. If my calves touch the mattress I get awful burning or skin on skin if I lay on my side. I am continuously figiting

Hello Everyone, I’m on 5th line chemo , so well experienced at this game. It’ll be 9 years this year. I think I know the answer and I’m going to seek advice from my nurse specialist and have an appointment with my consultant soon, but I’d like to know if anyone has experience of either of the above

Pregabalin-magnesium
Sue, Did I read correctly in your gabapentin template that you can take magnesium at the same time as pregabalin?

Gabapentin to pregabalin
Morning Sue. I persuaded my doctor to let me try pregabalin again, he is going to start me on 75mg pregabalin twice a day, is that ok as I am taking 1800 gabapentin at the moment? I am a little nervous as I thought it should be 300mg pregabalin. Thanks in advance.

Thank you
I am overwhelmed with gratitude to all those that have responded to my post yesterday . I responded individually to the first people ( I’m not sure how to private message , I’m a bit crap with technology and my texting thumb is numb 🤦🏻♀️) But thank you all . I have had both psychology sessions

Benfotiamine B1 5 Day Trial
I decided to do a trial of Berfotiamine after reading randomized trials for peripheral neuropathy in diabetics. Yes there is work with efficacy done, just not with B12 deficiency. 1mg EOD is good enough treatment and the maximum ever needed. I no longer experience peripheral neuropathy due to my supplementation

TGIF! And thank God for Tramadol?
My answer is yes. Always do your own research. Tramadol is a combination opiate and the properties of an SNRI (antidepressant) and is very successfully used to treat both pain and depression (off-label), with no where near the addiction rate of other opiates. https://go.drugbank.com/drugs/DB00193#

I had pelvic prolapse, cystocele and rectocele. Had pelvic prolapse repair 1 year ago, they took out uterus and tightened vagina to hold bladder & bowel. When I came too after op, they said I had a cyst one my left ovary so would need another op yo remove this. I have been in pain since op, it depends

Just a touch away: CT-optimal touch perception and its influence on pain and itch
Psychologist Larissa Meijer has discovered that gentle caresses from a partner can provide relief from chronic pain. This treatment has no side effects and can be done at home. It should normally be free too 🙂 Meijer has demonstrated the effect of light stroking on pain and itchiness in Parkinson's
