Failed EMG

Hi although self injecting and on relevant co factors I'm having terrible neuropathy in my right arm and leg, my hand actually claws up and I'm loosing strength in it. My neuro sent me for an EMG and the dr who done it said I failed. What could this mean? I'm waiting to go back to see neuro but there's a huge waiting list. Could this be something else?
