Advice on meds that are prescribed with Pred
I’m now on my third week of 25mg Pred as a recently diagnosed PMR sufferer, and likely to be on it for some time, so Consultant has also prescribed me omeprazole 20mg daily, evacal D3 1500 mg twice a day and alendronic acid 70mg once a week, all to help with the side effects of Pred! Does everyone else

What Could it be? Can anyone help? Feeling alone and helpless.
I have been dealing with urethral pain and bladder pressure for the past month and I have taken many tests and they have all come back clear. I’ve had blood tests, urine samples tested, CT scan and an ultrasound. At the moment the only thing that seems to help us Naproxen. I still feel pressure and without

Anyone else been through this..?
For the last month I’ve had symptoms doctors can’t tell me what’s going on and it’s really frustrating I had period pain and took naprogesic pills to ease the pain (naprogesic pills contain naproxen and apparently naproxen triggers asthma) which I didn’t have at the time. Minutes later I started to

A contradiction late last night.
After 16 hours of heart/chest pain and unable to sleep I popped down to my local A& E, paid my Eur14 and first saw a nurse who spoke English (I live in central Portugal). He did a BP test (which was lower than the reading on my LIDL tester and normal) quick blood test and an ECG. Then I went to speak

Received CT Scan results this morning
Hello everyone! I hope you all are doing well today. I received my CT scan results this morning and my primary doc said I had a benign cyst on my liver. Feeling so low - just need to vent
I haven't felt this low in a while. There a few major factors in my life that don't feel quite right at the moment, but I don't know how/when to tackle them - my relationship and career being two of them, and I turn 30 in a week! I had some awful pain the other day, searing pain that takes your breath

Questions for anyone who suffered acid rebound effect after PPI use, and eventually was free from acid reflux?
I could write a book about my experiences with this condition, but I'll try to be as concise as possible to keep you from getting bored halfway through! After various stomach problems (constipation / diarrhea, and later on stomach pains / cramps) for about a year, that my doctor speculates are IBS-related

I have been in poor health for two years now. I have severe diverticulitis, IBS and a hiatus hernia for which I take Esomeprazole 40 mg
I also take 25 mcg of thyroxine. I’m so tired and have terrible flushes every day and night especially when eating. My throat is so dry especially at night and I sometimes find it hard to swallow. My doc will not recheck thyroid as says one blood test a year is enough

Period pain without the period
I’m currently taking Millinette - 3 packs on 1 week off - this is my second break and I’m in absolute agony. I haven’t had a period since January I was diagnosed in March with Endometriosis. I have pain everyday even after the operation and I am currently on an 8 week pain management plan. The pain

New symptoms... PMR or GCA?
I have had PMR for about 2 and a half years. In the last 6-8 weeks I have had several 'episodes' where I get a very sore feeling in my throat/chest like really bad heartburn, then a pain goes across my shoulders and down both arms to my elbows and hands, really a lot of pain for a few minutes and then

Hello...I am new here. I have been experiencing right side pain for about the past year. It started out sporadic but had become pretty much constant about 3 weeks ago. Silent Reflux after Lung Surgery for Early Cancer
I had a right lower lobectomy in February. My consultant is pleased with my recovery and I am now just being monitored. However after this surgery I had symptoms develop that lead me to now believe I have silent reflux or LPR. I've had an endoscopy that found only mild gastritis. I take Esomeprazole
