Severe pain but clear ultrasound?
Hi all, I was diagnosed with Endo via laparoscopy in 2018. Since then I've struggled to get care/treatment on the NHS so mostly self managing. A couple of weeks ago I woke up with a different, severe type of pelvic pain, so bad I thought it might be something different. Ended up in a&e - doctors suspected

FYI- 1mg gastro-resistant prednisolone unavailable.
Today I went down into my village to collect my prescription from that well-known high street chemist and was told gastro-resistant pred in 1mg tablets were now discontinued and would no longer be available... ever! I would either have to take ordinary pred 1mg with omeprazole or see GP for an alternative

Blood test (Iron) results - likely the cause of my RLS?!
I posted a week ago as a newbie about experiencing RLS after taking Sertraline, thinking that was the cause. A few days ago I saw my doctor and laid out all the health issues I've been having: RLS, pounding headaches upon waking, getting out of breath easily, feeling weak, pounding heart, and ringing

Are my expectations too high?
I was diagnosed 15 months ago. I was started on prednisolone then added methotrexate then sulfasalazine then abatacept. I am now taking all four plus co codamol and naproxen occasionally. I would have expected to be able to function but my hands are still very stiff and painful and am very fatigued.

Alternative to naproxen Hi I’ve been taking naproxen for some years now for RA, but I also have CKD ( chronic kidney disease). After going for my six monthly checkup with the RA specialist, she has suggested I stop naproxen and switch to co-codamol, which I reluctant to do. Has any one been in the

Mixing Gastro Resistant and plain Prednisone
Having started on 15 mg when I was first diagnosed a year ago, I reduced by 1 mg a month until I reached 10 and then started reducing by 0.5 using Dorset Lady’s plan with some pauses to take account of building work, Christmas and other things. This has worked well and I am now at 8.5 going to 8. I have

Ankylosing spondylitis? What happens next?
6 years ago I was given diagnosis of Lupus after decade of pain and illness. I started taking Hydroxychloroquine which helped a little. I still take max dose. Not seen consultant since 2019. Finally agreed to see me face to face next week. I live with huge amount of pain, stiffness and inflammation.

IBS Symptoms?
Hi, I started with acid reflux and upset stomach around five months ago, which has steadily persisted. Doctor gave me omeprazole which gave me migraines and sickness followed by esomeprazole which wasn’t any better - despite helping the acid, it gave me awful diarrhoea. Fast forward to now and I’m not

Problems getting prescriptions for naproxen and omeprazole
I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and I take hydroxy, methotrexate and abatacept Last week I requested some more naproxen. I don't take a lot if it these days since I started with abatacept so it was a year or more since my last prescription request. I was told 'there is a 3 star interaction with methotrexate

Hi all, I have endo between uterus and bowel, my left ovary is stuck to my pelvis and bowel and I have adeno as well. I've only tried ibuprofen, paracetemol, naproxen, codeine and co-codamol (over the counter strength) for pain relief and co-codamol works best to take the edge off. Unfortunately it
