Pre diabetic
Hello. I had a mild heart attack in October and now have been told I'm pre diabetic. Would the tablets I'm on have anything to do with this? Candesartan, Bisoprolol, Aspirin, Eplerenone, Omeprazole, Ticagrelor & newly started Rosuvastatin (as ALT level was high on previous statin)?

Laproscopy done Yesterday
Hello I had the news I don't have endo which is what was expected. I'm rather upset as I was hoping to get a diagnosis of something! I just really want answers. I was booked in under a cancellation and from a Google I don't think the lead surgeon specialised in endometriosis but the hosptial is recognised

I take my tablets in the morning of 2 codiene, a stomach protector 2 hdy and am not needing naproxen very often. What a difference, this is working better than humeria. I inject into my tummy and

Naproxen and Methotrexate
I am presently experiencing an increase in joint pain and have been prescribed naproxen. I have used it before very effectively but seem to remember the pharmacist’s label saying not to take it on methotrexate day. The label this time says nothing about this. Anyone know if they’re able to be taken

Endometriosis, stomach inflammation, severe back, buttock, leg pain, possible bowel prolapse and other issues. Anyone else ?
Where to start? I'm 44 and believe I've had endometriosis since starting periods. Formally diagnosed late 20s. 3 lots of surgery..last one 9 years ago. I think stage 4. Have endo on my bowel. Started getting bouts of more tummy cramps and urgency to open bowels on occasions last year. Saw GP...had bloods

Carpal tunnel?
Hi everyone, I hope the sunny (sort of!) weather is making you all feel a little better. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in June last year after many trips to the doctor trying to explain how I felt. I’m a carer and work part time, which is all that I can manage. Caring can be demanding and, at 54

Hi guys, I have been on benepali for 5 weeks and I think it's working, I still have to take some codiene and naproxen but not as much as before. I caught a cold from my granddaughter last Thursday with a sore throat, sneezing and now developed a cough every now and then. Do you know if I can carry on

Probiotics and digestive enzymes
I was prescribed Omeprazole when first diagnosed with Polymyalgia. Consultant agreed I could stop them a year ago. Have always taken digestive enzymes which have always helped me in the past. . I am thinking of adding a Probiotic supplement. Has anyone else taken both these things together?. Currently

Hello everyone, This may be a long one so please bear with me. I have gorgeous boy/girl twins who are now 14 weeks old. I’ve written a previous post about my baby boy suffering with symptoms which were diagnosed as GERD and a cows milk and soy protein allergy. My current problem is that he just won

Review of Top 10 Prescribed Drugs and Their Interaction with Dental Treatment
Yet another paper which hints at quite a bit - bit then is behind a paywall. If anyone has access, just knowing the outline of what they say could be very interesting. We have had many question the impact of thyroid issues on their teeth and dental treatment. [i]Dent Clin North Am. 2016 Apr;60(2):

Tapering off Naproxen
I wrote some time ago about my rheumatologist changing Meloxicam for Naproxen when I had hip/groin pain at the beginning of April . I experienced sudden groin pain and saw a rheumatologist ( not my usual one ) who ordered an X-ray. The X-ray showed healing pelvic fractures which may/may not have been

I have herniated discs in my back and sciatica. I have recently had an MRI and it showed mild wear and tear/osteoarthritis of the spine. I have been prescribed Ralvo ( lidocaine plasters) 5% lidocaine. Has anyone else been prescribed these? I was told I can use 3 plasters a day for 12 hours then take
