Update on me brain fog and derealization
So my anxiety has seemed to die down some I don’t have a panic attack every time I leave my house which is nice but I still can’t think straight I feel like I’m living in a dream half the time I keep getting brain fog. I still feel dizzy here and there still have chest pains in both sides of my chest

Omeprazole
I seem to recall reading a response to a post some time ago regarding PPI's. I have been taking the above for two and a half years with no medication review during that time and due to the present scenario at our surgery almost certainly no chance of getting one. ( the contracted G.P. has resigned along

Diagnosed? PIP
Hello Everyone, I'm currently being given Duloxetine 60mg and Naproxen for Fibromyalgia. My Doctor said I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in November 2021. (They only told me this last weeks, April 2022). I have never seen a rheumatologist who I have been told are the only ones able to diagnose Fibromyalgia

GP re evaluation
So I put my normal prescription in to my via a delivery app and got a text message back from the GP saying that they had had a look at my medicines and stopped some and changed some. Eventually got an appointment with the GP who had done so to try and work out what was going on. The GP literally said

Breathless, constricted chest feeling
As some of you know I had a pulmonary embolism in January and recovered well except for dreadful reflux. I have had this problem for years but managed with careful diet and 10mg omeprazole daily. My 3 month check with specialist was fine. Jumping to now I started feeling breathless when first wakening

Sciatica hell
Hi. I have been diagnosed (over phone!) either sciatica. It crept upon me over a few days, no obvious cause, I've now had it 2 weeks. Its so very painful - a gnawing deep ache across right buttock down back of leg into calf. Can't get comfortable anywhere and difficulty walking without holding on

Feeling really down
I have recently started treatment for recurring cancer.Rubrac a didn't work for me and I have already had Carbo/Taxol and Carbo/Caelyx. As my son and his family are visiting from New Zealand in July (prompted by my increasing ill health) I decided to try Anastrazole tablets rather than weekly Taxol,

Naproxen
My rheumatologist has changed my inflammatory medication MELOXICAM to NAPROXEN for pain relief . ( Have been on Meloxicam for years ) . Is anyone else on Naproxen ? Do you find it effective ? How long does it take to work ? I've read the accompanying leaflet and wonder how people have found the side

Stomach Liner
As most of you are on anti-coagulants do you take a stomach Liner? After being on Apixaban for several years the doctor now wants to put me on a PPI although I have no acid reflux. Lansoprozole gave me chronic diarhea which has resolved after stopping for only 5 days and wants to switch to Omeprazole

Acid reflux and hiccups
Hello, I hope this post finds you all safe and and as well as possible. Does anyone else have this, acid reflux and then followed by hiccups, I’d say several, but that doesn’t cover it, almost, one bout after another. The acid reflux is now getting worse, and even water brings it on. I take omeprazole

Whether to push for a diagnosis
Hello All, my first post and I'm afraid it will be a long one but perhaps someone has had similar experiences and can help. I am male and 53 years old. I’ve had a diagnosis of Raynaud’s since my teens. Over the last ten years or so I developed visible red veins on the backs of my hands, forearms, feet

Hi, I’d been taking famotidine for more than three months and have now been taking omeprazole for almost 4 weeks to deal with upper stomach pain as well as a strong acid taste in my mouth. They’ve both helped a bit but I’m still having pain and acid taste. Given all the problems that can arise from
