Symptoms and diagnosis! HELP
I began having pelvic pains in 2016 following having a coil fitted. Immediately I was in hospital having severe cramping. They thought the coil had migrated. It was found in the right place and I was sent home. Every month was the same around my cycle. One evening I came home from work with severe pelvic

Do most of you take Omeprazole as well as Prednisolone?
I have been taking Omeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor, to protest my stomach lining from becoming ulcerated by prednisolone. I take 20mg a day. I understand that when I am on a high dosage of prednisolone this is necessary; is it still necessary when I get below 5mg of Prednisolone? Omeprasole can

omeprazole with aspirin
So I had hip surgery last week, this time last week as it happens, and was discharged with aspirin for dvt prevention, and Omeprazole to protect from that obvs. My question is, as I have low stomach acid anyway, could I afford to drop the Omeprazole? I’m not a fan of any of these “counter” medications

how quick does increase in MTX take effect
Hi, I was diagnosed early March and was on steriods to bridge gap until MTX started working. I was initially on 15mgs. Whilst on oral steroids I became pain free but as I started tapering down I had aches/pains in feet /hands/shoulder and hips. Whilst not too bad and seem to plateau recently I have

The Dreaded Pramipexole
Has anyone experienced augmentation symptoms following even a very low dose of Pramipexole 0.088mg? I am 73 and still quite active. I started with RLS about two years ago. Intermittent at first, but then worsened such that I was experiencing continuous disturbed nights. Classic symptom of a shaking

Omeprazole
Hi all,I never bothered with omeprazole much until a few weeks ago when I started to get a bit of discomfort. Now I've been taking 20 mgs for a few weeks, whether it's anything to do with it or not, I've ended up with a really uncomfortable feeling in my mouth and hypersalivation, even though I

Hi, the last few days bones in both my wrists started aching badly without any reason. I didn`t think too much into it but the next day both my big toes really ached as well and I was in pain all night. My old Doctor said I had Arthritis in my left toe quite a few years ago and my Podiadrist said

ENTRESTO 49/51 (+ Bisoprolol, Eplerenone, Aspirin, Simvastatin, Omeprazole, Dapagloflozin, Furosemide, Mexiletine).
My husband (79) has been on Entresto for nearly 2 years. Has no energy or strength and is tired most of the time with breathing problems after a very short walk in the garden. Hasn't seen cardiologist or had his EF checked since prescription issued. GP will not change any medication cos of heart problems

Pramipexole weaning - 4 weeks in.
Update to those following my story… Today marks 4 weeks since I started reducing my Pram usage. I was on six tabs, today I have taken only 4 1/2 and will do so for the next 2 weeks. So far, the RLS hasn’t been any worse than I was getting on 6 pills daily. So that’s pretty good I reckon. I have had

An update on my journey
My journey is short so far and I'm still in the early diagnosis/treatment phase. It's being a drawn out process as I need to have further scans before decisions are being made. I was given the option to take steroids while I wait for the scans with the warning that the scans may be impacted by the steroids

Does omeprazole reduce thyroid drug absorption?
I’ve been put on omeprazole and have been experiencing real crashes where I get so sleepy mid morning and mid afternoon. I take it 4 hours away from my thyroid meds. Anyone else experience this?
