Nosebleeds on meds
Hello. I was just wondering if anyone has had any insight. I’m taking ramipril, Spironolactone, bisoprolol and omeprazole and over the past week I’ve been waking up with a slight nosebleed. Nothing major but interested to hear if anyone experienced similar? Thanks x

Prednisolone and Naproxen
Tomorrow is MRI day. This means that I can start taking the prednisolone that was prescribed over a month ago but advised not to take until after the scan. I'm still a little wary of taking it as I don't want to interfere with the diagnosis if they're not finished after the scan results are seen but

Multiple doses & Gaviscon Advance
Any ideas how I can juggle taking Gaviscon Advance 3/4x a day while taking Levo & T3? I currently take all Levo and 7.5mcg t3 at 5am, 5mcg t3 at 11am and 2.5mcg t3 at 5pm. If I need to leave 4 hours either side of taking GA, that’s an impossible task. I’m supposed to take it after meals and at bedtime

Liver test & starting methotrexate.

Hope in sight
Back on July 21st I had an NHS consultation where I expected to be given MTX and be on my way to recovery but the consultant wanted to give me an MRI scan on my hips before prescribing targeted treatment. Fair enough as I am keen to get the correct diagnosis. I have semi private health insurance that

IBS and steroids
My sister in law, newly diagnosed with PMR, is finding her IBS (irritable bowel) has worsened since taking steroids. Her initial dose is 15 mgms. She has also been prescribed Omeprazole. Has anyone suffered with an upset bowel whilst taking these medications?

Please help me
Hi everyone, new to this type of thing but I feel like I am losing my mind. I’ve been sick for most of the year, 6-7 months, (bad acid reflux/stomach issues/loss of appetite). I’ve been on famotidine and omeprazole for a bit. I thought I was getting better in the summer but lately I’ve been feeling sick
