Hello, I'm hypothyroid on 125 does of thyroxine, I just had my blood test done and the results are

Serum free T4 level (XaERr) 14.5 pmol/L [11 - 22]

Serum TSH level (XaELV) 1.39 miu/L [0.27 - 4.2]

I am only asking as the GP says everything is fine and no further action is needed but I feel terrible, energy levels on the floor [Mentally and physically] gaining weight by the day, fell bloated all the time, any advice helpful. Thanks

My prescription is

Levothyroxine 125

Dulluxotine

hydroxychloroquine

Omeperazole

Naproxen

Mbeverine

Caleciferol

Your FT4 is still pretty low in range. It would help to know what your FT3 is. Can recommend getting a private test to find out. You may not be converting well, also I'm sure someone will recommend getting the right vits and iron tested too.

Your FT4: 14.5 pmol/l (Range 11 - 22) 31.82%

That not very high in range, ask GP for dose increase.

Do you take any supplements?

Do you take medication away from medication & food, including hot drinks?

How do you test? Book blood draw in morning, fast overnight, delay Levo until, after draw?

Have you considered completing a private blood test to test full thyroid & nutrients.

There’s lots of information and links on your previous posts.

You haven’t had dose increase after last post?

Strongly recommend

1) getting FULL thyroid and vitamin testing done privately

Always test thyroid early morning, ideally before 9am and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

Do you always get same brand levothyroxine at each prescription

Likely low vitamin levels, especially on PPI

Getting all four vitamins tested and OPTIMAL essential

2) if not already on gluten free…..get coeliac blood test done before trialing strictly gluten free diet

3) retest thyroid levels after 2-3 months

Assuming Ft3 is low after getting all 🦆🦆🦆🦆. in row

Email Thyroid U.K. for list of recommended thyroid specialist endocrinologist and doctors who will prescribe T3 if necessary
