please help. Desperate.
Before I start, this is definitely going to be a long winded one but stay with me here if you can 😂 I’m absolutely desperate for some kind of answers, advice, similar experiences - literally anything to make me feel like I’m not going completely insane. I’ve just turned 27 last month, I have 4 children

Have I got IBS?
Hello all, I have been suffering with severe stomach pain/cramps for about 4 months now and have lost about 2 and a half stone in weight. I am lethargic with very little energy. I have a constant ache in my gut which gets worse after eating/drinking. My GP has prescribed buscopan which doesn’t really

Meloxicam or Arcoxia?
Hi, my GP has suggested I try Meloxicam instead of my consultant-prescribed 60mg Arcoxia/Etoricoxib, because even with Omeprazole my tummy feels sore after 3 consecutive days on Arcoxia so I have to pause pain relief. When I was first prescribed Arcoxia 8 years ago on diagnosis of PSA and spondylitis

Gaviscon dilemma
Earlier this week I had a call from the pharmacist at my GP practice. He was calling to review my meds which seems to be the latest practise at my docs. I told him I had stopped Omeprazole and was just using Gaviscon at night to control acid reflux as it wasn't too bad at the moment and that I thought

Free prescriptions
Can you get free prescriptions if on medication after heart attack? I'm on life long aspirin, candesartan, Bisoprolol, Omeprazole, rosuvastatin. Its not listed on the NHS website as one of the conditions but thyroid for example is as its life long?

Normal bloods
Hi everyone, I have suffered with hypothyroidism for about 15 years. 3 years ago I had an ultrasound of my thyroid and was told I had nodules and probably hashimitos. For about 2 years I have had frequent throat clearing and some indigestion. I've recently been to the GP who said it's probably reflux

Is it RA?
Hi everyone, just looking some advice. Over the past two year I have been having recurrent sore throats, seem to be nearly every other week but haven't needed medication treatment. Since having my two children I have always had 'stiff hips' and any time I took up running had to stop after a few runs

Timing of pills!
I had no idea that I shouldn’t be taking all my pills, prednisolone, aspirin, atorvastatin, omeprazole and adcal -D3 at the same time each morning…… Having now read some comments I will review my timings. I now understand why I don’t feel good in the mornings….

Debilitating shoulder, neck and back pain
On 18th September I was suddenly hit with debilitating shoulder and neck pain which has gotten worse. I've had this before in May and it didn't go away for around 3-4 weeks but I don't remember it being so bad to the point that it was making me cry, unable to sleep or sit. I've tried Naproxen, Nurofen

I tried 2 others Rivaroxaban and Apixaban but they caused a few problems so hoped it would be 3rd time lucky. However I am now suffering severe indigestion and heartburn. Could this be a side effect or

Acne and reflux (worsening) on HCQ
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has noticed a worsening of acne with HCQ (or alternatively a radically increased sensitivity to sugar)? Also, I’m on omeprazole but having to have so much rennies now too as my reflux is getting much worse. Has anyone else noticed these? I feel I’m going to have

Taking Naproxin with Asthma
I didn`t know how to add to a thread I started a few weeks back so apologies. Basically I was prescribed Naproxen for knee pain years ago and it seemed to help, when I read up about it, it said Asthmatics should not take it. My Doctor has now prescribed Naproxen 500mg gastro-resistant tablets
