Allergic reaction to naproxen

Hi I've been using naproxen for just over 4 weeks now for bursitis abt a week later I started getting small raised lumps like a bruise thats spread in patches on my legs. At first doctors said cellulitous has treatments for it didn't go. I was given a weeKay worth ofor steroids which seems to settle it. But then when I stopped it came back. I've been referred to a rheumatology as they think I've got inflammatory arthritis and they think my skin rash could be linked but something questioned my mind because I'm not I'll no fever so go me thinking am in having a reaction to the naproxen. Has anyone else experienced this?

I’m allergic to naproxen but I get severe vomiting with it, so allergies to it are 100% possible but I can’t remember if I had a rash with it, sorry I can’t be more help x

Hi, bruises are listed as possible side effects. If there’s no leaflet with your medication, you can read up here.

I’d go see a local pharmacist. They are usually very knowledgeable about side effects and should be able to advise whether it’s likely to be caused by the naproxen.
